The nano catalyst still is a BUG unsolved... even is collecting and is still remain is ZERO!!!! some people say just replay the last MISSION... well... not all of us got solve that problem (BUG) even replay STILL UNABLE to correct the BUG. also 2nd - 3rd run the game still SAME BUG the (Nano catalyst STILL REMAIN ZERO).... OR it that a way to do the FRESH install again....

I think its time to move back to battlefield bad company 2 I have invested enough time and money in this, at least in battlefield I won't loose what I get from playing multiplayer. This game has loads of bugs and unstable multiplayer, I am feeling bad for those who can't even login to multiplayer but even if you'll get into multiplayer you will find nothing but disappointment, that's what Crytek planned for us "MAXIMUM DISAPPOINTMENT". Many developers move to multiplatform development but they do so gracefully, they never abandon PC community like this but this is the most ugliest form of how you abandon your old community who supported you for years.

If You make Crysis 3 then were going to get it from warez instead of buying it and mayyyyybe someday, when we investigate Your C3 forums and there will be no problems like "cant connect", "crash to desktop" well think about buying.

I really do not like to form in which Crytek support us. Simple forum with mass of posts is not enough - no chances that they will filter all our posts and make a list of "things to be fixed". I really lost my hope.

i can live with disconnection but please don't sacrifice our EXP and achievements unlocked especially after hours of playing on a same server!

Where is Crytek? Why aren't they answering our questions? Why no updates concerning DX11 and the game a whole? Why do we always have to get on our knees before we are informed?

It's been almost a month since the DX11 patch announcement and still we have not seen one single piece of proof. No information, no screens, no videos. Nothing.

I agree and understand why you wrote this, this is a kind of game that force people to try before buy, and legitimate customers go to piracy, Crytek should be ashamed.

This game is like an old shirt that has many holes in it and they are trying to hide those holes by pasting patches on them but no matter how many patches they'll make, it will always remain a patch work not a properly finished shirt, a software that is made with dedication and hard work never require that many patches and even with patches they are not doing an impressive job, people are still having disconnection issues, can't login issues, level reset problem, old stats being saved problem, servers showing 1000 ping problem, nanosuit catalyst problem in single player, crash to desktop problem, no graphic options, no Dx11 and the list goes on...

I don't understand how this game passed Quality Assurance tests, or maybe Quality Assurance didn't happen for PC version. God knows or Crytek knows.

and what will you do ? if someone sell you something claiming that it's the best thing you can find and it turn out to be below ordinary thing with lots of problems with it, what will you do ? This game was supposed to be AAA title, do you know the meaning of AAA title ? something that is perfect from every point or near perfect, but look at this ! we purchased a heavy bag of issues and problems in 59.99 USD. This is a normal reaction from any customer who got fooled by a seller.

This thread is 232 pages long now, some guys asked nicely while some asked aggressively, if for example they are ignoring the guys who asked aggressively then why are they not listening to ones who asked nicely. They are only pretending to listen, their patches are not fixing the game. I mean comon its version 1.4 now and some of the most annoying bugs are still there. Hi everyone, I've actually downloaded the demo of Crysis 2 to see if it can run with my PC.

The problem it′s that after I click on "Join game" it doesn't load anything, I've tried to refresh several times but doesn't work, the list is just empty.

Also tried setting off the firewall and rebooting the PC

I can not find a lot of good servers, which used to be 1,700 servers - and now 1300 Internet so bad - wired. Need a satellite dish?
And all the good EA server I have 1000 ping!

Flickering issue: It's still here. I've just noticted that I have the exact same issue with Mirrors Edge. It flickers like hell when CrossFire is enabled. I got 2 Ati 5870 and running the lastest display driver and cap4. This means that it's not a Crysis only problem, which makes the problem seem like a display card driver / hardware issue to me.

I Just purchased Crysis 2 (w/Stradegy Guide book). I am using a few 3D FPS's to sharpen some issues I was left after a surgery; having to do with some memory and "quickness" issues. So, I was messing around with COD 4:MW1 & decided to get a newer title to bring some variety to playing/healing. I used to play some years back.

My question is: Is it true that Crysis 2:Limited(?) for the PC was advertised as utilizing the DirectX 11 platform in its graphical renderings; and it actually does not?

If that is so (I noticed in some other forums I just read this morning), I think there is definantly so intentional foul that has been done. We can only hope someone has some lawsuits on the docket! AND THEY CAN WIN THEM!

I am a very new player of Crysis 2 and I had not played Crysis 1. I started the COD 4, but just started. I do not know if anyone is still playing COD 4's multiplayer anymore? But for now, I will have my hands full just doing the SP of both.

FYI: I am disabled, in a wheelchair, have some issues here and there. Not real bad, but I will be a little slower at some actions. At least until I get things worked out (controls & coordination) and a lot of practicing done. I am/was a professional Software Developer and have been in the computing world since 1986. I was certified MSCD in 2000, which was my last educational thing I did.

about your question yes Crysis 2 PC was advertised to use DirectX 11 platform and in actual it doesn't. I think just before release date they announced that it will use Dx9 instead of Dx11 which was previously promised, this announcement caused a lot of anger from the PC fans. What's worse is that Nvidia has a special page of Crysis 2 Dx11 on their site which was suddenly removed when Crytek made Dx9 announcement. A lot of PC fans purchased Dx11 cards just for this game, I myself shifted from ATI 4870 to 5870 just for Crysis 2 and we got a Dx9 game in the end, waste of all hardware potential we got.

The game is also plagued with some annoying bugs, such as Multiplayer not working at all for some players, No advanced graphic options for PC version, Old stats being saved to the server in multiplayer and so on. See previous pages for all the problems people are facing.

They made an announcement that they are working on a Dx 11 patch for PC but so far no proper details are released. Also they have made some patches to fix PC bugs but those patches not very effective. In my overall opinion console development of Crysis 2 caused a lot of harm to Crysis 2 PC, no matter how much they deny it, its a fact.

Anyway if you're looking to pass some quality time for your healing, I think Crysis 2 will do the trick. The single player is great and multiplayer has a lot of potential, however the bugs are making things dirty. If you're fan of strategy and RPG games then there are some good games for you, Shogan Total War is a big PC hit (Strategy) and The Witcher 2 (RPG) is releasing on 17th May, one of the most anticipated RPG game of year 2011. I am really starting to get pi**ed about Crysis 2! After buying the Nano Editon for about 130 Bucks here in Germany, which is really a lot of money, i tried to play Crysis 2. But what i ve got, was anything but not what i ve expected! I installed the game, got the day one patch and thought, that the game would work really fine... Damn it, game started, first video sequence, watching Prophet shooting some aliens and then... Crash! Tried again, and guess right, CRASH! So my first day with Crysis 2 ended with some nice Crashes!
Next day i checked this forum to find a solution. The one i found was ok, but changing to a lower solution is not what i expected from a "Hightech"-Game. But i worked fine for the most time. Got some crashes between gaming, but that could happen.
Then played along in mission where i was on a bridge. I tried a tactic to sneak around some aliens and got stuck in the bridge, unable to move in any direction. Very nice! But ok, could happen!
Then, the last mission. Got in that spore tower... But then there should be a video sequence, i guess... I ve never seen it! Cause the game crashes and crashes and crashes!!!

Today is May the 5th and i havent even been able to finish the game... So i had to watch the last video sequnce on youtube! Im sorry Crytek, but i think:

Well dude its really sad to know that even your single player is not working. Have you tried updating to latest patch, Crysis 2 is version 1.4 now so the new patches might help you.

Update 1.4? Yes, that must been two weeks before? Then i tried the last mission again... And the game crashed! I even tried to disable SLI and tried the game again but i hate this crashes!

The only cool thing is, i can say i got a red screen!


And about the pricing of nano edition, 130 euro are about 200 US$... I could really cry!

Strange I never had a crash in single player and multiplayer as well.

Have you tried lowering your sound quality from Studio Quality to CD Quality in sound options in Windows control panel, this is a common problem with many games. Maybe it will fix your game. Crashes in this frequency should not happen so there is definitely something messing with the game.
