There was a small problem with cell characters in the game, he was standing there saying (repeating) " what was that and whos there??" as if some the was in cloak and spotted.

There is no automatic patch button that Crytek can press and the game fixes itself. And these aren't just 10 second code changes. Trust me. Crytek is working on it. Get over it and wait

You just don't get it, do you? Maybe you're slow so I'll speak in small words:
When we pay over $70.00 for a game we want it to WORK. We don't want to wait weeks and MONTHS to play a game we spent that much money on! These problems should have been fixed BEFORE release. Because of the Demo, they knew about this before the release.
A REAL company would have delayed release until ALL the problems were fixed! They have had a MONTH to fix it already, how long do you expect people to wait?

Another Fix Needed:

When i unlock the mystery dog tags and i leave the game, when i get into the game again the mystery dog tags are locked again.

It needs to be fixed.

Why oh why was this game not fully tested before its release? I mean it was fairly obvious from the demo that there was a problem logging into the game using gamesas accounts. I can understand a few glitches here and there but just think of the mess this has caused for people redeeming codes left right and centre without soundly knowing if they will actually get the content that was promised to them?

As for people complaining about Dx11 I can fully understand that however; in my opinion the game still looks pretty nice in full HD on max settings and runs very smoothly but some extra eye candy will be nice and would allow us to further personalize our game.

The biggest downfall in this very anticipated game release would have to be the multiplayer feature. The demo was multiplayer only so on day one of getting Crysis 2 I was thoroughly looking forward to shooting n00bs like many others, yet this feature has failed outright with only minimal amounts of people getting to experience it albeit with connection issues etc.

The login feature has probably caused the biggest problem in my eyes but I would not want a botched quick-fix job as this could even exacerbate the situation regarding already redeemed codes etc; but I do feel that a little more feedback from the Crytek staff would go a long way to reassuring people that progress is actually being made, and eventally followed up by an ETA.

I have also witnessed issues concerning the AI, aliens running around in circles, enemies standing in massive groups facing walls, and when shooting and killing enemies beyond a certain distance will provoke no hostile action towards you, so with a sniper you can kill all far away enemies without actually entering combat etc but I'm confident that this will be fixed in due course once the more serious issues have been ironed out.

TL;DR

Game was not ready for release.

1. Provide customers with an overview of what the actual problem is and what has caused it I.E database of gamesas accounts has "something really technical here" wrong with it which was caused by "excuse here, clearly avoiding the obvious one of it was not checked and sorted despite many disgruntled reports from unsatisfied players during the demo."

2. Reassure customers that you are infact tackling one of the various issues regarding Crysis 2 by offering frequent and understandable updates informing us of the progress made and even an estimation as to when the issue will be solved.

3. Iron out all other technical issues I.E issues with poor AI, Issues with the inability to shoot/use melee after a death, the issues regarding Crossfire so on and so forth.

All great ideas, Violence! What you don't seem to understand is that Crytek doesn't give a ****! If they did, you would be dealing with a live Tech Support person, instead of searching forums, and getting **** promises.

Guess what? I think they won't release any developemer tools, otherwise they wouldn't sell DLC's. Maybe they are just for multiplayer, dunno.

No I am enjoying it as well, very much so! I've only met two rude people, both from "****" clan, "**** someone" whatever they're clan name is. That's IT!

I hate however being on a server, reaching next rank, and then the server crashes, and I go back to where I was before I reached that rank!!! The unlocks are horrible too, I had a gun and attachments, that became LOCKED again, and I couldn't modify even though I had already unlocked them. VERY annoying. Same with dog tags, I've unlocked the same "mystery" dog tags at least AT LEAST 10 times.

It's all "small stuff" at the end of the day, I can join a server, kick some butt, and have fun. But when I just want to "level up" ............... that's where the fun is stopped by bugs.

Im not being smart mate but did you even play the first crysis,that was an awesome game,the benchmark to which all other games should aspire to be.This game is a littany of bad ai lowgrade textures there is no graphics tweaking options because this is as good as this game can look!Direct x11 will do nothing to improve it.I Jumped off a roof early on and landed under the map for christ sake i couldnt beleive it!The expectations were set with crysis and warhead,can crytek honestly hold up this game alongside the original and tell us this is how far they've come.Im not even angry tbh,i just feel like the last bastion of cutting edge pc gaming has been consolised.Just totally dissapointed

nope never meet any hackers yet but to die from one shot kills from head shots froma a gun and head shot thought melee

Please release a patch soon Crytek. I have every collectible and am almost done my Post-Human Warrior playthrough. Afterward, I will have no real reason to come back to the game unless MP is patched. I better hope to see a patch on Monday or I will be severely disappointed.

What I expected when I came across C2 was the same game as C1 only better. I wanted an open sandbox world with a huge amount to explore. In C1 you where given a mission and you decided how to go about it. Not just different ways to use the suit but you could come at an objective from any angle. Above, below (in the water). Behind from a dirt path you spent 5 minutes following out in the middle of the jungle etc. You could collapse an entire structure on to your targets. It was really open world. The game itself was Awesome and is still a great favorite of mine to this day. Crysis 2 could have been great. you should have Imported the entire Google earth map of down town NY into your new bad ass engine and designed the game from there.

I wanted them to take full advantage of my (2) gtx480 and my quad core cpu and new SD HD. instead you made something that also had to run on 5 year old console hardware. Hey! Why stop there? You could have made more money if you made it able to run on PS2 and XBOX I sure there are still plenty of them out there!

What I got was one of the most scripted dumb down single player campaigns I can remember that in no way is any different that most of the stuff that I have seen recently on consoles.

If you’re a console player then this is probably an on par game for you and I would recommend it. If you’re a real gamer that has played C1 and been part of the modding community for it you need to stay as far away from this title as you can.

Frostbit, Cry engine are looking really good I hope that some of your team can really do something worth our time in the future with it!
No amount of patching is going to be able to make the game even remotely as good as C1.

Cytec sold out to the kiddies and can’t really be taken as a PC gamer’s game company if they continue on this path.

The reason this title offends us so much is that you where one of the companies that we held in such high regard. You have insulted us greatly with this offering in more ways than just a poor buggy release. This game is fundamentally different than the Jewel that was Crysis 1 and completely in line with all the other boxed in console shooters. We can see how you caved to consoles and there kiddy gamers to make money. You must have had very heated discussions in your development team meeting as this was being produced and the direction you were going became clear. I suspect and truly hope that you end up losing the talented people that brought us crysis 1.

I was able to return my copy to Target for in store credit or a full refund. You do not deserve my money at this point.
