Hey everyone!

As we've got a few issues that many people are trying to get information on we've put together this quick-fix summary thread where hopefully you'll find a link to the answers you're looking for. Any updates or new resolves will be added to this thread so make sure you check back frequently to get the latest info!

Keys/Accounts

- Promo code wont work? Read here!
- Crysis 2 wont remember my multiplayer key [FIX!]

This is a known issue that is currently being investigated, when there is a fix to it we will update this post with the correct link.

Gameplay

I think the PC gaming community deserves a definitive answer on whether or not Crytek will include future Directx11 support for this game. Or at the least, an in-game menu that allows you to tweak graphic settings.

First time i was really disappointed by speed of shipping of my limited(not your guilt CryTek) But now i see this fact ; Later i have the game- More bugs will be fixed. So i could wait for more fixes and play Good Game
P.S. But i hope i'm dont need to download 500+ mb patches, need I?

this.. and you guys have no right to treat us like pile of horse **** when it comes to dx11.. u guys kept saying it supported dx11.. where is it? WHERE??????

I have a very high end computer and bought this game because they said it was going to be direct X 11. If they don't fix this I will return the game. Pc gamers made this game now the hell with us. It's all about console play. What a letdown!

I bought the game, but next time i will think in other ways to obtain a game from Crytek.

Exactly! Is there going to be a dx 11 patch and if there is, when? I was about to buy the game right when the stores open until I found out about this disgrace..
And for the gods sake why did you release Crysis 2 as dx9 game? Whats the point? Insane.

This games is a huge dissapointment. Firstly, are you kidding me with Direct X 9. I dropped $50 because this was suppose to be DX 11 and there would be a patch right at release. Where is the DX 11 support, which we were all promised?!?! When is it coming out???? Also, the flickering problem with multi GPU's is a joke! The graphics on the character and vehicles is Playstation one caliber!!! This game reminds me of Fear 2 - a complete sellout to the console community!

Thats my biggest concern, Ive never owned a computer game that limited you to only 3 preset choices for graphics.... My comp can run the game fine by motion blur makes the game unbearable to play for more then about 10 minutes...

There are just a few working servers out there. The rest crashes on countdown(Just continue ticking after reaching "1".) or "the connection to the host was lost" during loading or simply wont even start the countdown..

I think that we hear something about dx11 today when nvidia shows their "secret". And I think that Crytek has never said that dx11 support will come at launch day, they have only said that it is comming.

they never said that they wont include dx11 in the retail version... and because the fact they always said the game will support dx11 that means they implied that the retail version supported DX11..

and im pretty sure what they did is called FRAUDE

I have a steam version of Crysis 2 adn each time i launche the game it's stuck on cry engine logo. Please help.

How to run crysis 2 benchmark too?

Patience people. I'm sure the guys at Crytek know what they are doing. Let's just assume they're preparing a nice surprise for us PC players. Yes, I'm being optimistic. Why not? The game isn't even offically released yet in Europe and the UK, so give it some time.

the game is a console port and no patch van fix that... the only think you will get is directx11 features like shadows and etc.. also maybe tesselation but it will be just as **** as the tesselation in dragon age 2

That's ok I only bought TWO evga GTX 580 FTW's and added liquid cooling at a tidy sum of almost two grand in january thinking this game would be worthy of it. Truth is my spare rig with SLI 275 and OC'd i5 would prolly do just as well. Major dissapointment...back to crysis 1 a PC! GAME! not a freaking port.

Thanks for the update!

I am still totally unable to actually log in within the game using my gamesas logon information. I see others are having this issue as well, and a note sent to Help & Support has since gone unanswered. Is there any concern for those of us out there who still cannot log in and do any kind of multiplayer?

Can you please post something about the seriously incomplete set of console commands? There were more console commands in the DEMO for God's sake (With command line switches, etc.)

The secret of Nvidia is just the announcement of the GTX 590....

Right about now, I'm just trying as hard as I can to get a refund from steam. I don't even want to look at this pile of **** anymore, I had hopes for it, was even in denial for the past few days about it, but now I can sincerely say I'm done with Crytek. The patch won't help, the game was **** from the start and the only pc players who bought it were just too loyal to this sham of a company.

This is my largest concern.
At least we can play w/o the DX11 or advanced graphics settings; I haven't even been able to play the multiplayer. Any word on when the servers will be updated/fixed?
