So I have been fighting flickering in Crysis 2 on my xfire 5850 setup since Crysis 2 was released. CCC 11.3 did not help me CAPs didn't help me.

I was really getting frustrated, so I avoided getting excited when 11.4 was released. Uninstalled all drivers installed 11.4


FLICKERING!! I can see it right when the game starts, soo annoying. But I I remember reading somewhere to try changing the brightness just a little, I did that, boom, flickering is 95% gone. I could see the change right away, the menus stopped flickering, everything.

Now though I just have to adjust the brightness everytime I play. I can always take it back to what it was, change is and change it back, but it has to be changed.


Anyways if anyone else is still in the same boat I was, try changing the brightness right when you turn on the game!

Now Crysis 2 is looking more awesome than ever and now I can look forward to some DX11 in the coming months!
