Crysis FREE RUNNING

Post » Mon Mar 02, 2009 8:23 am

I was watching crysis 2 MP video and one part (link:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejozcdyyFQ8 2:15) reminded me on the game MIROR'S EDGE(for those who don't know about Miror's Edge Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2N1TJP1cxmo)
So how cool woud it be for maybe crysis 3 (if it's in the city) have more MIROR'S EDGE climbing and wall runing......

Parkour in nanosut?

What do you think?

I personally want a Mirrors Edge 2.
But Crysis should stick to its roots and shouldnt try so much experimental stuff.
The more u have the more could go wrong.

Crysis 2 has already been described (by the developers) as "Parkour with guns"

What you see in Crysis 2 is basic Parkour.

Only climbing has been seen. Running from rooftop is another (But that could of been done in the original Crysis).

Other than that, it's not going to be like Mirrors Edge, most likely it will have some elements, on par to work with the Nanosuit 2.

All i have seen is climbing and sliding, which is enough for me to be happy.

Free running involves tricks and stuff in midair. The fist stamp could be freerunning. :)

Too many movement animations won't make the game feel fluid. Mirrors Edge was great but the gameplay was not fluid in my opinion.

It would be awesome running and jumping from rooftop to rooftop no matter how high you jump - you don't get hurt. It gives you an awesome sense of agility and power.

Pixels are awesome.

I have always had wonderment about how hunks of metal and plastic can do calculations and pixels can make a large image believably realistic. :)
