Stop overreacting. Euphemism...^^

Being upset by s.h.i.t.t.y behaviors in multiPlayer is normal I guess, nobody's perfect. My CAPs lock was an overreaction by seeing this kind of web_s h i t_

But that's not just for Crysis... it's in BF, CCS, CoD, a.s.o.

those kind of sites could all burn to ashes if developpers "generally speaking" were acting together against them...
Nobody cares or this is becomming normal.

Everyone please keep in mind that all my videos that I've posted are AFTER the 1.2 patch as well. So, essentially the patch did NOTHING to prevent cheating.

Honestly,
If this is not addressed soon I will be "borrowing" all my crytek & ea games from now on.
My money is worth more than to have a game completely hacked in 2weeks.
It would be wise to ban all players with 90+% head shots for instance.
Especially the ones bold enough to make a video.
Dont take what I said lightly I bought this game because the multiplayer demo was great.
Hackers = ME "BORROWING" your games period.

The problem as i see it is they mess'd up and forgot to close alot of holes when they ported it to pc from console versions, so we got the short end of the stick this time and i think they are getting the lub to give the rest of it to us. No directX 11 no real encryption and all the real data for mp are client side rather then server side and provider, so security option they have atm people with high scores and low deaths get ban'd.

What a FUBAR game it turned out to be glad that they did not allow the nano edition in Denmark or else i would be a poor man with a paper weight.

Well that's strange because I have just been looking at hacking websites and finding that the 1.2 patch really gave them problems because of server side key identities. So your statement is totally incorrect, or how we English say, "A load of Bollocks!"

I think the only way forward for combatting hacking in PC multiplayer games is to either A, start having all calculations and data serverside which would cost the developers a fair bit to maintain. Or wait around for an actual useful anti-hacking 3rd party service to surface.

It may have given them problems... but hacking is still occuring. Even moreso now. At least that's my perception of it.

I was playing it this last weekend and didn't have ANY hackers ruin my gameplay. Yesterday I had 4 in 3 servers in less than 2 hours. Seems 1.2 didn't help JACK.

The only time you should use cheats is in singleplayer. Why? Because some of us are just awful at FPS games. I have no problems cheating in singleplayer but good god if i don't find it dirty and downright shameful to do it in multiplayer. If you can't beat the game on singleplayer without cheats then don't even think of playing multiplayer. Hell half the reason i don't play my games multiplayer modes anymore is because i hate dragging down my teams stats. Why am i the only cheater that has the sense and ability to recognize that cheating is wrong in some cases? As for this crytekprogrammer fellow, perhaps we could get the community to actively band together to focus all of our kills on him. I know at least five people here have to be sick enough at shooters to take this butt-portal down.

Sadly this is not going to be fixed or come to an end anytime soon; not on the PC and it will get worse on Consoles as it's now vetted and financed by 'Big Money' from competing Publishers, and sometimes even done 'in house' to sustain product turn-over. Anyone that doubts this is not aware of the facts, or that far worse is done in much smaller product markets were far less in the way of investment is at stake...

Add RUS DevilSoldier to the list. He and 3 others on a custom server use a cheat where they blink in and out of existence while you shoot them, once you run out of ammo, they turn and kill you. I've killed him several times but it was incredibly hard to get one single hit even at point blank. Several people on the same server said the same thing about him. Why is it usually Russian players?

Yer i noticed the same thing 80% of Ppl wit RUS in theyr names, are hackers,...

Apparently, noone in russia, has any skills,...

I actually like playing this game. I always end up stopping after about 20 minutes because of the hacking. It's hard enough to find a server and when I finally do it has hackers.

So sick of this ****. The longer they wait the more people they will lose because of it. I'm sure it will eventually get fixed but they are just losing player base of an already depleted player base (PC).

Just pathetic on Crytec's part.

I logged onto Crysis 2 MP yesterday, and there must have only been about 200 people playing... on 1677 servers!!! I couldn't find any server with decent ping that had open slots. There was 1 server with 109 ping that had max players...

Crytek needs to put out a patch and at least block all known hacker account names. That doesn't take much work... come on!

Attempted to enjoy some MP last night. I joined server TAW.net(UN)official-------i believe Seattle and there was a player named "Skapunker 2010" practicing hacks. His speed and jumping ability were off the charts. Even his color was like that of the Green Latern---he openly admitted hacking the game. The guy was so incredibly fast he was unstoppable. Crytek, EA games, and the server hosting companies need to do a better a job at $60 bucks a copy. Online gaming in my opinion has really gotten much worse with the cheating.

It doesn't have anything to do with the server hosting companies. This is all down to Crytek and EA.

Yes, unfortunately our membership of the Crysis population in my clan TAW is low for now, its a new game, it will grow. That means sadly we dont have admins on all the time. We assure you we have a strict no hacking or glitching policy in the clan and our servers. Hopefully soon we will be able to have a steady number of admins in there, that will be nice with its low ping! Fav us!

Wow! Now that is something I never once thought about. It makes complete sense! Hack your competitors games to kill the fan base and hope that those players go out and buy another game from the publisher financing the hacks. Considering the greed in the industry, I would not doubt that for one moment.
