Odd place to ask innit?
Defying the crowd; Reach.
Reach has splitscreen and search preferences.

What at stupid qustion....Crysis 2 all the way! Why didn't they just ask which one was better MW2 or Crysis2? I am not say they should, I am just saying that the might as well go all the way on this one and really get a reation from people. I would course still say Crysis 2 no matter what!

That just shows you how well Bouncy and Microshaft work together on games. The series is so repetitive, its like a retarded version of Call of Dooty, except in Call of Dooty, Captain Price and SoAp always live in every single freakin game.

Your cat is a pvssy. (cwutididthar?)
To each their own. Honestly, i'm glad to know you're not going to shove your cat into a 9x4cm box. That would be cruel. And difficult.

Why does that change anything? It's not like it'll explode on contact.
It's still the exact same game it was before the "leak".

Are you aware of how simliar Crysis 2 is to CoD?
You're basicly saying "you're ugly, but your twin is hot".

Did you just come out from under a rock? In some form or another, all FPS's are similar. But a Crysis 2 and Cod comparison is weak, I mean where are the aliens in Cod? Does Cod have the Nanosuit? Koreans? I bet Captain Price has a secret Tac Launcher too!

Let me rephrase that, I wouldn't put it in the garbage, where it belongs.
Both are fun. I shall be playing Reach in September and C2 in March. :)
This seems like the most logical answer so far. Since it was wisely pushed back, C2 will not have to compete. The hype engine for Halo is in full effect so I am swayed toward Reach since I saw the Forge 2.0 capabilities. I have a feeling I'll be stuck on that for a while. I have already pre-ordered C2 so march will be a long break for forge 2.0, hopefully permanently.

Now, i'm not defending CoD - IW/Treyarch are ignorant wallet jumpers.
But Crytek has, infact copied a lot from MW2.
they see the success of generic FPS's and are just trying to cash in,
it's uncreative and a little lazy, but it's just common buisness
sense.
"Gamers like cities, rewards, and ranking systems - so lets sell that to them for the thousanth time"

Making a game costs a lot of resources, so they're afraid of wasting it on somthing that might not sell - thus the generic features.
FPS are all similar in some ways, but when you compare somthing like Halo and CoD you can easily see that it's about reinventing the car without reinventing the wheel.

They have copied CoD out of fear and buisness sense.
Also; i've seen Price pull an Colt M4 rifle out of his ass - so who knows what else he's got up there.

Oh, and you think Reach belongs in the garbage,
so you're NOT going to put it into the garbage?
What?

@Mr Wanna Go, Your point about Crytek business sense is well structured and a sobering truth. Though the more I think about the evolution of FPS, the more I am drawn into these preconceived notions. In other words I look at the issue from Crytek's perspective and often come to the same conclusions. But that just might because the have painted themselves into a corner. By that I mean, wasn't Crysis 1 an Arcade Shooter? More like Halo, where all players started on equal footing and acquired weapons throughout the map to gain an advantage? It now appears they had made a giant switch to Simulation Shooter. Which involves an individual's ability to customize weapons and abilities. I might be wrong about both Crysis 1 and 2. Please don't flame me.

My point is, once you turn the game into a simulation shooter, you set yourself down a path that has an finite amount of outcomes due to the nature of the conflict type. Most notably is the lack of super powered weapons (like the rocket launcher or spartan laser) since everyone could start every game with one. So there had to be another factor that would allow players to gain access to "game changer" weapons without allowing everyone to gain access and in a way that does not feel unfair to other players. So what better way then for the player to "earn" it though kill streaks or in this case (dog tag picking up streaks). Which might be interesting if you can pick up tags from other players kills. This will allow scavenging n00bs have some fun with power weapons also but would piss me off if they ran around stealing my tags.

Anyways, my really point is, once you turn down certain paths, there are only so many logical solutions to how game play can unfold. That being said, there millions of ways to do it your own way, or reinvent the car without reinventing the wheel as Mr Wanna Go said.
