i think halo reached (ha. haha.) its prime with halo 3. even though i was a little disappointed by the graphics and general lack of novelties gameplaywise, 3 years later im still playing the multiplayer from time to time and the singleplayer was good except for one or two levels (backtracking -.- - bungie will never learn).
there is relatively (!) little hype about crysis 2 now because all the console gamers havent really been aware of the pc exclusives. halo reach looks to AGAIN bring none of the innovation that they promised. for example the first trailer featured dynamic shadows whereas in the multiplayer beta and sadly even the E3 demo those seem to be gone. halo 2 had some dynamic shadows and where the **** are the sunshafts that halo ONE featured? ffs
anyway it turned out to look more like halo 3 than it should have. also at first they said it was going to have 720p and in reality it is going to have slightly more than halo 3, but still "sub-HD". im ALREADY disappointed with halo reach, crysis 2 on the other hand has been showing almost nothing but very promising scenes so far.
"almost" because of the crysis 2 tv episode 1 footage labelled "PC" that looked exactly like the xbox version but that neednt have been the highest settings.
