Presence or absence of dx 11 doesnt effect console build. Sales or lack of sales on pc doesnt concern console gamers. So y are u here?

"I" am here because I am interested in the game as a whole not just in what concerns me directly. Im never going to play C2 in multiplayer but I'm still going to research its mechanics and general info. I will never be able to play Crysis 1 but I am interested (or pumped actually given the present situation) about crysis 2...so I did research Crysis 1. It's plot, gameplay mechanics, expansions, some walkthrough videos and so on and so forth.....simply because it was relevant to the game as a whole if only for its flavor. Just because I choose to play on a console that does not make me closeminded, just because I decided to spend 1600$ on a samsung flatscreen to play my xbox on and not on a gaming rig that does not make me any less of a gamer or less worthy than those who made the opposite decision.....or you in this case

uh...dude you are getting DX11 patched into the game on release day, yeah it's official....yeah other companies are doing it too (I assume it's a marketing ploy) like Bioware who patched in DX11 and higher res textures on release day for DAA. No it's not just about researching.

Chances are it's actually some half-assed form of DRM, so pirates don't get the full experience. Which of course won't work, there's nothing stopping people from uploading the patch.

its only one week from release and usually companies are first to dish out baseless rumors. But crytek is not revealing any pc info makes me worried. Maybe not many ppl have canceled their preorders to make crytek worry.

I canceled my pre-order because, well my friends are all concerned about creating listen servers from within the game, and with the exception of 1 guy, none are sure they are going to buy it. Some also don't like the steeper price also affecting whether they will get it.

Others are bothered by the ranking/upgrade system, So without knowing servers will be moddable, I can't tell them, well we can unlock things on our private server or restrict every one to default unlocks. So no one is saying "I'm buying it", except 1 guy who pre-ordered other than me who did not cancel his pre-order.

If it turns out servers can be modded, and Listen servers can be created(one person's requirement) I will buy this, it will just be at a slightly later date. Graphics options are sort of a requirement for some, specifically the ability to adjust more than just "Gamer" "Advanced" and "hardcoe", since some have slightly older rigs and would need to reduce settings lower than what Gamer provides.

Basically, I was preordering because my friends had all made mention of getting it as well, I wanted to make sure I was able to play with them. But I have a budget to follow for my entertainment, if no one else will be playing it, Well I'll spend it on something they are playing.
