Crysis 1 issue with Win 7 64bit

I don't see a dedicated Tech Support section here, so I hope this is going to the right place...

I'm having issues with getting Crysis 1 to run on my PC. Hardware specs are as follows:

MoBo: nForce 790i Ultra SLI
Proc: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.00GHz
Vid: 2x GeForce 8800 GTS 512 in SLI mode
RAM: 4GB DDR3

On this same PC, I used to be able to run Crysis just fine when I had Vista Home Premium 64 bit installed, with all graphic's settings set to max. Ever since I wiped it clean and installed Win 7 Pro 64 bit, though, I've been having issues. Crysis 64 will start to a black screen and 9 times out of 10 will stay there until I hit Ctrl-Alt-Del and bring up task manager, then it reports that Crysis crashed. The one time it does work, I can play for a while before it starts to experience major slow downs to the point where it completely locks up. This is with the graphic's settings set to high. Crysis 32 bit will start 9 out of 10 times, but experiences the same issues as the one time Crysis 64 starts.

I have tried every compatibility mode option available to me. I have also updated my drivers and made sure Windows was 100% patched up.

Crysis is updated to patch 2.1.
Crysis Warhead runs flawlessly.
