What do you guys think? does Cevat Yerli words about Crysis 3 on a strong gaming PC being next-gen still apply?


Considering PS4 can now render true HD resolutions, unlike PS3 half-ass upscaled one....

Killzone has always been a good series to show off tech, IMO the other ones showed off the PS3 in a pretty good light, now with HD graphics we can see what the PS4 is capable of, but be warned,these are early pictures, what the game ends up looking like may be different! I think Crysis 3 IS next-gen, it looks fantastic, great effects as well, even on a Medium-High Gaming Laptop like mine it still makes you stop and stare! If the PS4 can do this then good on it, might go and sell my Original PS3 before release which is still going strong 5 years later!

Killzone shadow fall looks way better,just look at the background quality, volumetric smoke,reflections on buildings almost
like cgi movie,but crysis 3 right now is the best looking game ever.

The danger of any Developer is taking too much time to get the Particles to be nice and shiny, but having enormous plotholes, sloppy storytelling or aggravating gameplay. If they can make things look good, that's good (obviously) But it shouldn't take away the time to really focus on the gameplay, story etc.

But that was just something that popped up in my mind.

I hardly think that the PS4 is Next-Gen to begin with, since there are already PC's with that power (or very close to). I never liked the whole next-gen thing, it implies moving on from one thing to another to be super big, while in the meantime it's happening all the time.

yea, boring maybe, but at least hundred times better then C3! Ok, its just a first look and nothing sure yet, but at least no over titled promises never has been, never gonna be kept, never gonna able make it happen!
