While for me it's really difficult to compare 2 totally different art styles, only time will tell which one will get out on top on PS3. I just can't wait to get my hands on both of them

Crysis 2, definitely.

They only can be compared on the same platform. And it comes down to what you want to compare.
Because there are many details you have to consider that makes a serious one on one comparison almost impossible.
First: The Killzone Series is developed only for the Ps3 and for no other system. The Cryengine 3 allows the developer to scale for all 3 systems at once. So the only thing you could compare is how good does C3 scale the ps3 version and could this be as good as an exclusive PS3 game.
Second: Many pure console gamers have a different definition for themselves when it comes to "good" graphics than a PC gamer or a game developer. Me as a Pc gamer cant stand pixaleted meshes or wires in videogames and i also hate the "step" effects you get if you dont use high antialiasing. Again what do you want to compare? Your pure impression or all technical aspects of these two games? Because only if it looks good to you.. doesnt mean it looks good in an objective point of view.

I am going to enjoy both games. I know killzone3 will be a great game and it will have a community from the start.
Crysis still needs to prove it self on consoles. Story, controls, graphics will be great by the looks of things.

2011 will be a great year for gamers...

Killzone 3 graphics are in par with Crysis 2 in the Ps3 console.

i agree, pc crysis 2 will make killzone cry itself to sleep.

Killzone is mostly advertising in my opinion, alot of backing on how cool the hellghast are and how special this game will be, focusing on little awesome points and making it seem like the poor game will be the greatest thing ever. I dont deny Killzone3 will be cool, but I have a feeling it wont meet Crysis 2 all aspects

it's so funny, but Killzone was created as Halo killer too. I think Guerilla Games have not too much chances to beat Crytek. Far Cry & Time Splitters is simply examples why it's never gonna happen.

Killzone 3 looks good on PS3 but Crysis 2 looks more fluid and natural. Killzone 3 just looks...forced and I don't like that feeling I get from it.
