To tomtom: Well I don't think we anyone except Crytek could officially answer your first question. For your second question, most of the time the editor is included such as in Far Cry 2 and Men of War it was included even on the Steam version.

yes it will be on steam
no the Special editionts(nano and limited) wont be
reason: steam is digital download and nano/limited are physical packages :)

You won't get the limited editions via digital download because then you'd miss out on the physical inclusions, like the prophet statue. If you did pay extra and missed out on the physical inclusions then you'd be a goose :P

In the Crysis forums on the Steam forums, it has been somewhat announced that Crysis 2 will be available on Steam and EA download.

o.O steam has always been great for me, high profile games are always pre-loaded so it's actually easier than buying it from a shop!

Anyways, crysis 2 WILL be on steam, every EA game except the sims 3 has been on steam for the last year and a half. The limited edition will be available just like it was for bad company 2. But you'll have to wait until around January/February to order it.

What makes you say that? I buy almost all of my games from Steam and have never looked back at retail, unless it's very rarely, not available on Steam.

Wow we got a troll in here...nice.

Steam is one of the best platforms and I treat it like I do with Xbox live. Steam always has deals and makes me interested in games. Plus Valve supports it with games and free DLC.
