Since Crytek did not feel like spending a day or two on developing an applet for Logitech keyboard's with LCD, I did it myself.

I think there are quite a few people who have been waiting for something like this, so here it is.

Crysis 2 LCD

Here's a screenshot of what it looks like:

It works for all Logitech keyboards with a LCD. ( G15, G15 Refresh, G510, G19 )
I only have a G510 though, so I haven't tested it on the other keyboards, but it works within the emulator so there shouln't be a problem.

It displays: energy, ammo of your current weapon, ammo of your primary weapon, ammo of your secondary weapon, grenades left and your ping.

Important: As of now, it only works in multiplayer! If you use it in singleplayer most of the things are displayed incorrectly, only grenades and current ammo are displayed properly, as far as I know.

How to install / use it: You don't have to install it, you just start the app and navigate to it on your LCD. If you want to exit, you just have to press the "backspace / cancel" button on the G19 ( the one for the LCD, not the normal one ) or the "fourth button" on the G15 / G510.

If you find any bugs, please report them to me, so that I can fix them!

Open your Task Manager and check if the app is running! You should be able to see it under "Processes".

What keyboard are you using, what driver version do you have and which OS?

It was running but I just updated my drivers to latest version I have G19 and Windows 7.

Yes it looks like that now, but when I'm in game and select the app all I get is a black screen on my LCD.... Any ideas?

Yes, that happend to me alot, when I was developing the app. It only happens on the G19 though. I wasn't sure if this only occurs on the emulator or also on the real keyboard. I will try to fix this, now that I know that it's not just the emulator!

As a workaround for now try this:
Start the app first and if it doesn't work exit. Do this until you get a non-black screen. Then start Crysis 2 and enjoy.

I'll start working on a fix for this bug right away...

Hey man I just tried launching the .exe rather than launching through steam. I now have my energy bar displaying on the screen. How do I get ammo etc to display?

I only have the energy bar! But still it's progress? Do you think steam is an issue and do you know if you could get that working?

Restarting the app while in game (alt tabbed) causes it to just display black screen again.

Steam is not the problem! It's the same bug, you get either a black screen or an incomplete screen. As I said, that happend to me a lot, but i thought it was because of the emulator.

I am working on it, for now just try the workaround, it works, but it's a pain in the ass...

Funny thing, now that I am trying to recreate the bug it ALWAYS works. But I think I know what's causing this.

Edit: So, I think I fixed it. I also added a new function, so that the app displays an error message when you start it more than once, at the same time.

A friend requested that I should change the warnings to scrolling text, so I did that.
Now the messages "Crysis 2 is not running!" and "Not playing Crysis 2 Multiplayer!" are scrolling.

Yes, please do so.

I tested it quite a lot and this "blackscreen" bug never occured again. So I think it should be fixed, but I can't be absolutely sure.

Also, Version 1.4 is almost done. I know, I'm throwing these out a little too fast, but there are always little things that I change and that makes a new version.

Changed the warnings again. Now it says Crysis 2 ontop and the warnings are scrolling with red font, so that it actually looks like a warning.

Please have fun with it and if you find any more bugs, please report them, so that I can fix them

Probably not possible, sorry.
I tried to get as much as possible to be displayed, but some things are just impossible. For example: Kills, Deaths, Score and XP Points. Crytek introduced a lot of anti-cheat solutions, which makes it almost impossible for me to access this information.

I will try to get the ping though, but I don't think that it's possible.

Good news for you DHMH! I managed to get the ping, it will be included in Version 1.5!

The only thing I'm not sure about is where I should put the ping. On monochrome displays there is absolutely no space left for another value. So I might have to use two pages which you have to select using the buttons for the LCD. This is no problem for color displays though, because there is still enough space for the ping.

If anyone has any suggestions on how I should do it, feel free to tell me! You can see what Version 1.4 looks like in the first post!
