Crysis 2 Maximum Edition - Now on Steam!

Post » Thu May 31, 2012 5:09 am

Hi all!

We're happy to announce that that Crysis 2 is available again on Steam in the form of the Maximum Edition! This version includes both Retaliation and Decimation DLC's, giving you an additional 9 multiplayer maps and 2 weapons, on top of the many maps and weapons already in Crysis 2!

Existing owners of Crysis 2 on Steam can also benefit from this news by having the ability to purchase the Maximum Edition, receiving both DLC's, for 50% cheaper!

If you haven't yet experienced Crysis 2 then now is the perfect time to jump in and check it out!

Cheers,
Adam.

Each pack was originally $10. Thus saying that it is 50% cheaper now is incorrect. It is the same price as before: $20. You should at least discount it by 50% now that its been out a whole year.

What is the difference of having the Pre-Ordered Special limited edition bundle of Crysis 2 with both dlc, and upgrading to Maximum edition. I have not been able to play the mp because it would kick me from the games and I have yet to find out why that is. I really miss the game too.

Or is there a patch for people like me whom have everything Maximum edition currently is saying we would get.

I think the only thing that I would get is the unique dog tag perhaps?

A bit much for just a unique dog tag or even 3. I got it through steam originally and when I saw steam advertising for Maximum edition I of course got curious.

I think C2 can be only added as a non-Steam game on Steam...

I believe you are correct. My question is basically the same as a few others. I bought the game through Origin, now how do I obtain the DLC's? Steam only recognizes my Crysis 2 install as a shortcut so I don't technically own the game through Steam. Steam does not have seperate purchase fields for the DLC's like they would some other games. It appears to be all or nothing.

Of course the Steam discount only applies to Steam purchases :P
