In an interview with eurogamer the lead designer said that his team has been able to produce dx9 variants of dx11 features. Such as pom, he also said that they have pom running on the xbox 360 version. Looks like crysis 3 is shaping up to be a very impressive game, at least graphically anyway. Will crysis 3 be the definitive on what consoles are capable of. If anyone can push our consoles to the edge it's crytek.

I've heard this too, very impressive to say the least. One concern I have is on the console performance, I really want the console multiplayer to perform, I feel like DX 9 graphics would be fine if it means less lag. But who is to say that the graphics even cause the lag anyway. My main point is that Crysis 3 looks awesome on console, probably the best multiplatform game for this generation of consoles. The PC version could make me crap in my pants. "It's TOO real!" lol But with the problems Crytek had with C2 on consoles, and the already impressive graphics, for me I'm really looking toward a much better performing Crysis 3 on consoles, more than a step up in the graphics. But thats my opinion and feelings.
