True, although we haven't played crysis 2, i feel more freedom in Crysis 1, but, ask any one here, i was an active member in the Crysis multiplayer community, and even then i found the multiplayer a little shaky, don't get me wrong it was great, and im not sure if its just me, but i have cable internet, quad core at 3.4, 460's sli and even then when on servers with 50+ players, my frame rate would drop to 30 fps on medium. I feel that they might be improving the multiplayer, and no im not talking about skyline in all its tiny glory, maybe they'll make bigger maps for pc, we'll just have to see the campaign for ourselves

Well, I didn't buy Crysis 1 back then, I didn't have the PC for it. Now I have a good PC which will surely be able to run C2 on high settings with an acceptable framerate. Also I like the gameplay from the demo and the SP-vids I saw up to now are nice, too. When a game changes it is sure to loose some old fans, but a lot of new fans will still buy the game, even more with the new XBOX- and PS3-markets. Crysis 2 will in the end sell better than Crysis 1, so Crytek won't be disappointed. Nobody cares for you not buying it

1.) Crysis 1 was linear. Large maps =/= non-linear. Yeah, you had multiple ways to complete an objective, but so does Crysis 2.

2.) If graphics are the overwhelming majority of what makes a good game in your mind, then that's all that matters to you. But understand that to others it is not.

Graphics - You must be blind.
Textures - Maybe but who cares if the rest looks way better then anything else.
Physics - Does Crysis 1 has prodecual deformation? I don't think so. Also: You can't know!
Facial Animations - Again, you don't know.
Suit Powers - Different, not better.
Story - Definate Fail. Also: You don't know.
Linearity - Exchanging a bit of linearity against a better story is a good deal for me. Also you can't know.
Maps - They are soo much more detailed in C2, also, it's a different Setting. Also, You don't know

Textures are not that less structured as in Crysis 1:
Even in very high settings there are some damn ugly Spots!
Just replay the original Crysis without any mod and if youre not a hater then you must agree that Crysis 2 for Pc is on par with its predecessor.

The Physics.. okay.. you wont be able to shoot an entire small hut with the complete interior and see it all physically correctly get blown away.
The only game that matches Crysis 1 `s Physics would be Red faction guerillia or Bad Company 2.

In all further cases we havent played the final version. And if youre only greedy for good textures just ask Rygel on crymod.com for a texturepack.
If youre lucky there will be many ways to upgrade the grfx of Crysis 2 the same way that its possible with C1 .

Differences-
Crysis 1 has huge maps but C2 is going to have so little maps.Crysis 1 graphics way better than Crysis 2 because it was only to pc and not reduced for consoles.I dont even talk about physics.
