Crysis misplaced?

So...

I just got my pre-ordered Nano Edition for PC, but it turns out the disc is for Playstation 3... At least I think it is. The protective plastic have got 'PS3' markings all over and the cover is compact just like a BlueRay cover.

Here's an image of what it looks like: http://i846.photobucket.com/albums/ab25/SageNTitled/IMAG0067.jpg

Just wondering if this have happened to any of you and it turned out it was a PC disc after all.... I doubt it, but I'm not gonna break the plastic just in case...

I do own a Playstation 3, but I want the game on my PC... =(

As you can see below; the outer cover have a PC-marking on the first link, and on the second, the box itself doesn't have a Playstation Network symbol on it.

They could have miss marked it with the PC Sticker by mistake. I think that the CryTek Devs should be able to answer this question for you. If they bother to take the time to reply.
Hopefully someone else with PC Nano version could also reply and try to confirm your suspensions.

I really hope they do answer.... I was looking forward to play this game, but now there was a drastic change in plans.

I've also mailed my supplier for support.... Hopefully they can replace my disc with the PC-version...

Sounds like a ps3 copy, if you went to the trouble of pre-ordering the nano edition though, I think EA should give you a free pass on downloading the game for PC and just let you keep the ps3 copy so you have both. Thats win - win right?

I do not speak German but you can look at this unboxing to try and compare it.

What I did notice in looking at another unboking video is that the PS3 version is set in the box differently. The PC was sideways where the PS3 was not. This may be do to the size of the case the disk is in.
Here is the PS3 unboxing that I looked at.

The question I have is what direction was your case sitting in the box?
I also did not notice that PS3 plastic strip lettering on the PS3 unboxing. He may have just removed that already. But the PC unboxing did not have it either. So you might have the PS3 verion by mistake.

Thats a good idea. I am not sure if thats possible for his case as he has the PS3 version and does not have access to a CD Key.

I would not hurt to ask though. You could contact the EA Support and see if they could add the PC version to your EA Account for you so that you can download it through the EADM. I have had the EA Support add older none digital copies of games that I have to my EADM for me so that I could install them without the disk. They should be able to just add the game to your EADM. But I had to give them the CD Key in order for the EA Support staff to confirm my ownership of the DVD versions of the game.
I say get your order information handy if you try this. This way they can see that you did in fact order the PC version. Go through Live Chat as well. That usually works better and faster than going through the Email tickets.

Interesting discovery you made there.

How funny, because you can see in the image I'm linking below that mine is placed as if it were a PC game, but it doesn't fit at all. I tried placing it the other direction now, and it fits perfectly. They must have misplaced the disc to a Playstation 3-version of the game in my PC-box...

Oh well.... Now it's up to EA or my supplier then.....

Yeah you got he PS3 version alright. Call them up and see what they can do for you. Hopefully it will not take them too long to hook you up. Hopefully you will not have to go through a lot as well.

The only other option is to just play the PS3 version and/or buy the PC version separately. Of coarse you paid a lot for the Nano Edition and you should get the right one. Having to pay more should not really be what you have to settle for.

Well here hoping that you get things settled t your liking.
