Cry-Adam said on PAGE 17, that they are aware of the issue and working on a fix...

However... AMD is working on a THIRD set of CAPs, and someone from nVIDIA thinks its the game.

Still feels like they don't give a hoot about us with multi-GPU even though we're the "hardcoe" gamers that had computers equiped with parts that would actually make the "maximum" in Crysis2.
Really sad and pathetic that they haven't sorted this problem out.

I have the same flicker problem with a single ati xfx 5970 black edition 4 gb gpu, and i made contact with ea and crytek but they really dont know what to do to fix it. I did found out that if you turn off the fullsrceen mode that problem is over but then you watching to those stupid windows bars. and they responded that i should turn of all background programs.... sometime i really think that those guy are thinking everyone is stupid in this world. So i told them that everything was turned of and i even send system files and screenshot to them and now still waiting for them to come with a solution but i think that there never will come one...

I also contacted xfx for personal support ( came with the black editon gpu

) they also are looking into it. to see if they can find a sollution.

Maybe some know how to fix the problem for the singel gpu configuration???

looks like they based the programming of cryengine 3 on console hardware

So how about us nVidia users? Any word on a real fix?

I had to install the advancedGraphicsTools and disable MSAA in order to fix the flicker. But now I have "ghosting" on far objects and the weapon. Ghosting is of cause better than getting epileptic seasures from the flicker

But a "real" fix would be nice.

Btw - I'm running GTS 450 SLi with the 267.59 driver. Haven't tried to measure my FPS with Fraps, but Crysis 2 runs silk smooth.

Note: I have tried the evga patch 38, but it didn't resolve anything

Running the game in windowed mode disables crossfire, so this isn't a satisfactory solution!

If you have Steam, try using radeon pro (http://www.radeonpro.info/en-US/Downloads/). You can then use FEAR as a crossfire profile. This should give you pretty decent scaling, not great though (I'm using a 5970 also).

If you have a normal retail copy, you can re-name crysis2.exe to rift.exe or fear.exe.

I will try this how ever: Here is a “NVIDIA Official .txt” (http://www.mediafire.com/?42em4edwru3xij5) with all the SLI profiles to date even crisis 2 v1.2 and AC Brotherhood, and you need the “Geforce SLI Profile Tool” (http://www.geeks3d.com/20100528/manage-your-sli-profiles-with-nvidia-geforce-sli-profile-tool/), hit the import button and select the file, then you’re good to go with all SLi profiles to date

It's just luck whether or not your particular Multi GPU system will work or not.

Don't bother screwing with drivers and crap, it works or it doesn't from what I've seen.

We need to wait for EA/Crytek to figure out what's wrong with their game.

Doesn't help. Also the 11.3 cap1 profile is only for Steam version of Crysis2. This thread wouldn't be 80+ pages if all that was needed was driver updates. How stupid do you think we are?

same here, i tried both of these latest drivers and all CAPs but the flickering issue is yet to be solved, I really hope this is being worked on, I bought this game three days ago and i still can't enjoy it....should have gone with call of duty black ops...

Steam users problems are not "solved". Flickering is gone but performance has dropped terribly. Just want to make sure Crytek know that the steam issue isn't complete.

That profile DOES NOT include the Crysis 2 fix. The Crysis 2 fix is still being worked on.

I really doubt it's all a driver issue.

There's something wonky in the games Multi GPU support. The problem is so random seeming too. Some SLI/Xfire users are just happy as can be with no flickers.

i tried the "adjust brightness" trick and it worked but it's not permanent. You have to do the trick everytime you play or even when you press alt+tab to go out and back to the game.

Damn! For **** sake crytek,will you please,and i am on the edge of a nerve breakdown here,please! help us out with the multuGPU problem???? for me,and i see there are other people out there,even the steam users wich i am one off,the cap2 profile from AMD doesn't work at all,and the rest of aaaall the methods (wich by the way is just pathetic that we gamers who buy your game have to fix ourselfs!! ) don't work ether... i have read (together with so many others ) thousands of post and forum pages,looking for a solution and i'm so tired of it...

The worst part is that you announce the DX11 patch,making it look like you just want to make everybody calm down for a sec...and i see that many forum users here were soooo excited by the news,some even wanted to marry you?? but i just want my CF fix please.... *sigh* it's even sad that we have to ask you so many times ourselfs
