hey guys, so im having this problem... everytime i run crysis 2, its all fine, the game is excellent and the sp is great, but now when i go on MP and i search for a server i find the servers, then the internet disconnects and it shows me the yellow throublshoot when i leave the game... so i always need to restart the router.. any way to fix this...?


also sometimes im like rank 13, then next day i find my self ranked 10, its kinda annoying so hope some1 answers me and tell me a working solution..

i experienced pretty much the same, trying to join a server manually ruins my connection to the web.

however, try to join the ranked instant action, that works (pretty) fine for me.
sometimes you will need to restart the search, as it won't find a matching server for your type of connection.

do you have strict nat? i do, thats why i only can play on servers with opened nat (which limits the amount of possible servers)

the fact that the rank drops back is caused by disconnects. if your disconnected from a server while playing your whole online session is NOT logged. 3 hours on a single server plus disconnect from it results in no progress at all!
sad but true, you need to manually leave like every hour to save your profile.

i tried to play all types, but it disconnects as soon as i search for a server, and my bro rage at me cause the intenret always disconnect, so hope theres a solution... i tried evertything man.... i used to play black ops its awesome and crysis 2 is too but im bored from bo...

any1 help????

Buy a new router, if that doesn't work buy a new computer.

If it's your ISP move to another location and acquire a new ISP.

I dont have an answer either, but wanted to reply to that crap reply. I am having issues too. Have actually had this happen once it killed my net for a min then it came back.
What happens if you plug directly into your modem instead of using router?

If I use over 10sec searching for a game or go back to the multiplayer menu, the game freezes and then I get disconnected from internet

Starting to believe that Crysis 2 are sending too much information at once and thereby overloads the network hub I'm using or maybe router, don't know if any of you guys are using a usb network hub.

Hope crytek shows interest and fixes this bug.

Then YES, it's a *BUG* or combination of bugs. The good news is that if you stick to playing only "Quick Match" when you log-in to multiplayer it will work just fine. Just don't try the server browser AT ALL - it kills the internet connection, you have to quit and start again.

If you having troubles with your router/modem/provider - why you searching rot aswer in the game?

Really.
At "Searching for servers" your client acting like it opens hundreds of coonections.
and your router have maximum connections LIMITED.
At exceed - it drops link down.
It maybe ugly hardware, or the subject to change in routers setup. You gotta check.

OR, if your provider IS cmlete jerrkk - that cal be limited at theirs side. You gotta check that also.

crysis 2 let your router burn like hell. after playing crysis 2 i need to reboot my router!

well before i used to play normally and nothing happend... and no iam sure my internet connection i have is the best i could get here.. the problem is that i could play normal before, and now it disconnects. even if i load one server and cancel seearch.
