This is going to be pretty interesting. If they can make everything balanced I'll be playing this a LOT.
This is the type of gamemode that will have it's "trial" shortly after launch. We'll see if it turns into a good one, or into another "Assault".

Fun fact: They actually planned this for Crysis 2, you can find it in the leaked beta files.

I'd actually rather be the hunted in this scenario. Underdogs ftw!

Boring trailer. The entire thing was scripted, and the TTK seems to still be CoD-ish (low as hell).

It's a ridiculous amount of fun, playing on either side. I've been loving these matches during our play tests in the office. Playing as the CELL is just intense and playing as a hunter is just so satisfying.

I'll just double upo i guess if the other one gets deleted:

I like the look of the suits better than C2 MP.

but the hunter can deliver a OHK punch and a OHK arrow AND remain cloaked.... sigh

Also, who is going to want to be the weak little cell guys? 16 guys in a lobby, only 2 get to have nanosuits. I don't think that mode's gonna be real popular

If my hopes are going to come true, then Crysis 3 is going to be what Crysis 2 should have been.

Also, Leguna, I share your concern. As I stated previously, we'll see if they manage to balance this properly. I'd like to be the CELL guys though :d

I guess i can see playing as cell would be fun with a coordinated group of people communicating, same as with hunters, coordinating and communicating together to take out a whole squad would be intense.

but if you are playing with randoms in a public match i can also see it being quite frustrating, no different from most modes i guess. I'll keep the mind open.

This trailer kinda makes the cell just look like fodder, like your just sacrificing your onlne gaming time to be prey to be toyed with for the amusemant of the guys in nanosuits

I think that game mode could be a lot more fun in private matches than in public where Cell players go Rambo and the Hunters only melee everyone. Still looks kinda annoying to play (Especially when the Hunters can use Explosive Bolts) but maybe it will be a lot more fun to play than what it looks like. I hope that will be the case since it's not a generic mode at all.

Where!? I must see this! xD New HUD and stuff? Also new gamemode looks beasting. I always wanted something like this, small number of nanosuits against full squad of enemies, also we see EMP grenades in this.

Well, looking on the web I′ve found that if you die as a Cell you revive as a hunter somewhere else so you can just let yourself get killed if you don′t feel like getting hunted (Oh boy, I can already imagine almost everyone doing that).

So you cloaked up behind the group in the open and broke one guy's neck. And now you're dead because the new nanosuit is slow as **** and the time to kill means you'll die with a few bullets. What a hunter.

Niiice, looks promising. Got a quick feedback here. As there are two hunters, I think there should be a way for the C.E.L.L. side to identify each individual hunter. Which could be color, tatoo, suit appearances/shapes.


This may add more communicational interactions to the CELL party, but could be a disavantage for the Hunter party because each indiviual will more track-able.

Well it looks like we got blue and red multiplayer nanosuits judging by the screenshots this guy posted: http://secure.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=58&t=48722

They both look pretty badass. I wonder, from the first screenshot it looks like it's a multiplayer suit vs. a ceph pinger... Hmmmmmmmm. :D

Sure the Hunter got a killer look xD - but I think that is armor mode which is a factor will turn the outer surface of the suit to blue.

Honestly, the Hunters seems to be a bit overpowered. In the livestream, they totally owned the CELL survivors. I think they had unlimited energy, for some reason, though.

P.S. Are we going to see a cinematic before a Hunter round starts? In which we all are in the VTOL and get crashed down?
