I hope they add all commands to the whitelist soon. Or some cool ones like anaglyph Stereo rendering. But thanks to this patch Crysis will finally get really great. Hopefully the editor will follow soon. ;) Great work Crytek.

I (and my ATI 5870) can't wait!

Also:
Finally!!! This is what I call a PATCH! But one question: I want to download the patch, but not DX11, can I download only the patch? It's because my game laggs enough with DX9 already, so I want to buy a new CPU, then download DX11! Can I do it?
Yes.

Just to double confirm - yes, any graphical enhancements will require an optional patch :)

The ongoing development is really nice to see and the DX11 enhancements look excellent.

I'd guess were looking at a timeframe of 2 weeks - which is ideal for me as I am planning a minor sideways upgrade for my system.

? Re-added possibility to enable r_StereoSupportAMD via config file (unsupported)

^ This is GREAT! I was so excited about DX11 that I missed this last little line at the end of the OP. If all goes accordingly, I will be enjoying Crysis 2 DX11 in 3D, which is what I expected from the game's initial release. Although it took longer than expected, this patch seems to be the one that will make Crysis 2 the PC game it was supposed to be. I, for one, am extremely excited and pleased with the notes on this patch, and can't wait to get the patch and the other optional graphics packs.

Big Thanks to the guys @ Crytek!

Love the fix for votekick, got stuck on a server one time with some goober constantly cursing in chat, unable to be kicked due to this bug. I never was too bothered with the console variables but it would be interesting to see what we're allowed to change soon. DX11 and high res textures are always a welcome addition, now I can take advantage of my DX11 card! I have no idea what bullet penetration means, but if it improves the hit detection on shots, good work!

Coolio! Also one more thing, I frankly didn't even know you could kick people in the first place, how would you do so XD. Console command?

This just sounds amazing! Surely to stress my I7 920 and GTX 580 ;).

Answers questions here?

Probably not be able to max out C2 1.9, why not go for a gtx 560?, i3s are ok but an i5 750 or 760 would be better, also get 1600MHz RAM, don't worry with an i5 it'll run fine, i got ripjaw gaming RAM (1600MHz 7 8 7 24 OC @ 1800MHz 8 9 8 24).

When you open the console, you just type:
votekick [name]
If you don't know excatly the name, just press TAB and it will auto-complete.
When someone intiates a votekick, you just need to press F1 to vote... To not vote, don't press anything!
