I suggest you take a look at Bad Company 2 DirectX11, there is no "DX11 Graphics" in it, its just simply the API. The best games are not always the best looking.

Hope you will fix all the bugs. v1.2 - today i was near laser beam - but after 6th kill i couldn't fire or hit. even weapon switching was impossible. strange, but there was no such bug in 1.1

I still have problems with the nano catalysts but this is ever worse because I can not even get them. The game is not registering them. On my 1 playthrough I had no problems but on the second one, I do. Even other glitches such as a weapon disappearing after cutscenes. Hope you will fix the catalysts soon.

RE-FAIL

While playing Campaign mode I am still not earning Nano Catalysts.
When I backstab a CEPH and then I use CTRL+H the counter is still at zero.

I know that before the patch, after dying or mission change or going back to the main menu and selecting campaign mode again, the NC counter would increment. This is kind of random.

i had the same thing with eadm, i contacted EA about it and they sent me these instructions :-

1). Please follow the steps provided in the link given below to manually uninstall the EA Download Manager:

2). When EA Download Manager is un-installed, please restart your computer and Clear your cache/ system temporary files. [If you don't have any software, you can do this by using this free software (CCleaner)]:
http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download
Note: This program is not affiliated with Electronic Arts in any way. This is a program from a third party website that will clean up your computers registry and assist in clearing Cache files. EA cannot guarantee complete functionality].
1. When the program is installed, open up CCleaner
2. On the left hand side, select Cleaner
3. Press the anolyse button below the window on the right hand side.
4. When the list is done populating, select Run Cleaner.
5. For good measure, do this twice.
6. Select Registry on the left hand side this time.
7. Press the Scan for Issues button under the blank list
8. When the list is done populating, select Fix selected issues...
9. This will bring up a little blue window. You can either click fix for each one, or select the option to fix all selected issues.
10. Perform steps 7-9 until the list is no longer populated.
This should completely clean your registry files.

3). Finally reinstall EA Download Manager through the link given below:

When you launch the game, the patch will auto-download. If you cannot find servers, please exit the game and re-start to ensure the patch has applied.

You can check the version number by selecting Properties on Crysis2.exe and selecting Details. The correct version after patching will be 1.2.0.0, and the executable will be signed by Crytek GmbH.

My STEAM just updated Crysis 2 again, with a package filling 37.1MB. What kind of updates is that?

The issue with the automatic update failing is something very simple that crytek needs to fix, when it's going to erase the crysis2.exe file, it's looking for it in this path:
"C:\program files\electronic arts\crytek\crysis 2\\bi32\crysis2.exe"
Do you see the double back-slash after the crysis 2 path folder?
well, that's the problem that's why the patch can't find the file.

hope they fix it soon, or at least let us get the raw files and we can do it ourselves.
In the meantime just unplug the ethernet cable to load the game after that just plug it back in.

I too still can not collect nano catalyst after the patch. This is very disappointing. I stopped accumulating them during the first play through. Then toward the end it mysteriously started collecting them again. However, when I started a second play through my count was zeroed and it stopped. What's the deal?

is that one day the CryEngine 3 will be used as it should, DX11, pom realistic texture HD, or is this done on purpose so the game runs easily without being too greedy in resource, it can be a strategy marketing.

it cost too much because it would have to resume all the map one by one for DX11 and HD textures, yet there with beautiful textures (Statue of Liberty), why it's not any of that quality? ?
