Man add some optimizations for better frame rate under extreme, you have a problem, even high end cards like 6970 get a modest frame rate under extreme setting, so is a problem there with the optimization. If the drivers ati/nvidia don't do anything, do something crytek.

My gtx580 GPU took a bashing until i overclocked it, the VRAM handled it easily(1586MB).

Good to see that progress is still being made. An excellent multiplayer is what ensures longevity. That and releasing an editor so custom maps and mods can be made. Hopefully there will be some info on the DX11 patch soon as well

Man i really don't care about gtx580, not anyone has the money to buy that card just for gaming-only. So, many people have a mainstream video card(that is worth the money for gaming). and the game runs on extreme setting a bit slow, 50-60 fps. And the graphics under extreme looks very blurred, so ugly graphics and slow frame rate, under extreme. Crytek fix that, optimizations please Add some on the list when the patch is released next week.

I dont care until I see DX11 pacthed, the game has been out almost 1 month, and I still cannot play single player until DX11.... FAIL FAIL FAIL! I'd get my money back, but I know its a good game. Its just fuuuking frustrating as all hell that I now have holidays and all this time to play but NO DX11 to play with Maximum awesome. SO pissed off. AAAAARrrrgh, I feel like i wanna blow something up IRL!!! I hate Crytek for making me feel like this, because its definatelty not in my nature so be angry or anything bad. F U Crytek!

Can crytek will allow us to disable the motion blur under MP ? It's that possible ? Could anyone tell me ?


Hey Calin, u can just use the Crysis2AdvancedGraphicsOptions1_7 to disable motionblur compleatly,..

Nope its the same inifile it uses for both SP and MP,.. and i use it myself, it works in MP:)

I use extreme for SP, but have to adjust to high, for MP or else i have insane lagging,..

As has already been said, 'great news about next weeks patch' but let's please get the bugs sorted first before applying the DX11 stuff.. The game will ultimately be better for it.

ATM you can use this http://www.incrysis.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=33008 mod to change any graphic settings you want in game.

i love the first fix. vote-kick feature. finally after a long wait we can kick those hackers out. can't wait for this patch. finally i can play multiplayer again haven't touch the game since release date after i finish the campaign simply because i couldn't do anything to hackers.
oh, and my spring break is coming up too. can't wait to kick those hackers out when i play.

you guys hav to fix penetration in guns cant shoot a guy behind a wall that is 2 inches thick wit a sniper rifle ....plz fix that its really annoying

Sounds great, though people are saying major weapon changes are needed too. I have yet to play the game, but it seems like some recoil, power, penetration, and accuracy needs to be tweaked in the weapons.

Otherwise looks good. May even play the game if no news of DX 11 comes before the patch is released.
