Have to agree with this i have started to loose connection happened 4 maybe 5 times in a couple of hours today.

I'm the only one who haz NO problems with the multiplayer on 1.4 patch ?!?!?! no connection problems, no lost stuff, and since 04, 21 i saw like 3-4 cheaters and we successfully kicked them o,o I guess I'm the luckiest guy on the planet.

Constant loss of multiplayer progress. <- How is this not the #1 priority?
Single player attachments listed as x/13 but there are only 12.
Multiplayer modules listed as x/23 but there are only 22.
Many, many players are missing Mystery Dog Tag unlocks and in some cases weapon and module unlocks.

I like Crysis 2 but the game is just one giant **** of problems.

Yes you are. Patch 1.4: SP freezes, MP crashes to desktop with beloved "pure function call", perm-cloak/wall-hack/DSG-no-zoom-headshoters every other game.. votekick system EPIC FAIL, haven't kicked any cheater so far, they just laugh at your face..

The new patch gives me some odd shadows problems. I'm getting lots of dark areas, even though there are no objects around me which cast these enormous shadows. I didn't have this problem with the previous patch. It doesn't make the game unplayable, but it is far from pleasant gaming. When moving with the mouse and/or keyboard they keep either appear or disappear. Does anyone else has similar problems? Are there any commands which might cause these glitches?

they should roll back to 1.2 and fix 1.4 in the meantime. Staying on the current 1.4 is sure suicide for this game. I don't wanna pause too long...but this game isn't fun right now. May has some other game releases like the multiplayer shooter Brink and different genre AAA titles like LA Noire. Enough to forget Crysis 2....

Brink looks ugly imo.

Brink is not about graphics, it's about fun and multiplayer/co-op experiences. It's not yet released, so it still could be a fail - but I don't think so. All tests and interviews about gameplay, customization and modes were pretty cool and the developers are experienced in multiplayer games. Bathesda is a good publisher btw. They care much about the community and have some great online features.

Awesome graphics do not help to make a game successfull and establish it online - but fun, a good multiplayer experience with friends and support do that!

There are many technically outdated games that are still fun to play online...and they will survice the CryEngine3 for sure. Crysis 2 is still buggy, feels still consolifiated and is already boring for many gamers.

So this thread isn't about Brink - it was just an example for online games in may - and I'm sure I'll have more fun to play with 2 or 3 buddies as a team online or online co-op than running around in a sluggish Crysis 2, that blocked all configs as cheat prevention and feels like a console port again.

The multi player graphics can't be tweaked, with all the blurry AA and stupid effects all i get is sore eyes, the pc version wasn't finished, still isn't, i want my money back, crysis 2 is ****.

Cry admin, the hackers have cracked the 1.4 patch also. given below is the link for a forum where they have posted how to crack the game and also the time they come online. Please try to improve your security and also stop these illegal players playing and hacking the game with their cheats.

confirmed i saw a perma inv cheater on our team yesterday, the stats are saving after deconect so no issues there but sometimes the lag is hoorrrrrible...

Crytek has delivered Crysis2 on xbox, ps3 and pc. No matter what platform, the core of the game has so many bugs that I think Crytek dont have so many people to deliver patch for xbox,ps3,pc instantly. And I think we should wait no more for further patches. There are just too many bugs. The game is a epic fail and you cant fix epic fails, you can only not distribute them any longer.
