I patched from 1.2 to 1.4 to see my profile isnt working anymore all graphic changes are gone savegames and key assigns are gone my autoexec+system.cfg graphic commands+textur folder doesnt work anymore and I have graphic bugs in main menu and game ? Game gets dark when I exit ship and I cant navigate to the water surface.Is that what you call improvement ???

1.4 has filled my console with errors.
But i have discovered that the highest value for example physisc is 6.(not just physics)

I stopped playing weeks ago, maybe a month ago now, I stopped counting. I am completely stunned to see that more than a month later and after 4 patches, the same ridiculous issues remain! I start to believe I will never see the end of that ... thing, that I can't decently call a game. Outside the graphical engine, you're just a bunch of incompetent coders! Sell your engine to a company who knows how to make real programs, at least it won't be completely wasted...

Understanding your problems is quite difficult to follow.
For me and friends, it was just working fine the patch. Updating. Bug fixing. Whatever.
I don't protect CRYTEK. It's right that they have not given a propper game out for sale this is shame.
But the patching is working propperly. Could it be that some of us having very special settings in their systems to run the PC's in a hardcoe mod .... I and friends having fun playing this shooter online without problems.

I'm not praising Brink, it's just an example for an soon contestant in current multiplayer games. I personally know many people who pre-ordered that game and already stopped playing Crysis 2. Some even stopped Crysis 2 and play Bad Company 2 and older stuff again. The reasons are always the same...and I think if Crytek can fix all that, it's too late for this game. Sad...I really like it and played a lot...till the last update(s), that sacrificed some good features and performance for cheat prevention...and now it's overruned by cheaters again and technical worse than before, with standard graphics and kinda input-lag.

CHEATERS for all people and ruin lives CRYTEK and players.
When on one server 4 players who have gone astray, slowly, cowardly, idiot . . . use cheats (1-speed 3.0, 2-invisibility forever , 4-Radar, 5-weapon chaters . . . ) simply can not play, and 75% of peoples honestly people just when they see you killed chater will never be pley.
I respect Valve Group Valid they think - not to beat fools, CRYTEK I tell you your GAMES someone will no longer buy even with the corrected (A lot of people hate you company for your omission and deception)

I bought this game last week. So I started with the singleplayer. But after a while the game hang-up.

Just had a chance to fire up the game again with the new patch, forgive me if this has been mentioned already,
but I'm having resolution issues.
My native screen res is 1680x1050, my pc isn't good enough to run it at this res so I lower it to a 720 one, but the game now forces ALL resolutions to a 4:3 ratio except for the native res, I have tried another monitor with a different native, and again the native res works fine but any other size and the game forces it back to a 4:3 ratio with back bars on the side of the screen. >.<
Using a GTX 460: 270.51 Win7 64bit

Please go back to the 1.2 version, the 1.4 is making me really nervous!!! My points in the multiplayer modality are completely stopped!!!! It is really incredible, is Cryteck working to improve the game or to exasperate it??? I am really disappointed and I am beginning to think that they should refund us.

I do not know how and why nut now it works properly. Good for me.

how bout allowing US to BROWSE CRYSIS LOCATIONS while installing patch?
instead of it searching through my M drive, C drive, and finally end up at F drive?

It seems their are still a few issues to patch up! Still having problems with the; Dog Tag dissapearing, in settings the Aim Assist is not being saved from log on to log on having to reinstall every time if I want this setting ticked, not so good!

The strangest one I have found is that in game the whole game freezes and I am the only player that can move about, normally I have the drop on the enemy but when I kill the enemy player I can move on and kill maybe another enemy, this is not your normal lag issue this is something else? Thats all for now folks, I don't jot them down I will see you for the next episode.

Well... aren't on yours PC's any Viruses? Maybe they lounch with game and Crytek servers and patch block your game coz it take that malware and viruses as aimbots etc.
Many ppl that have similar problems for other games had viruses and after using some good on-line scanner it become clear they had infected PC.

Hi Rain_the_Vizard , I done a few checks just done and you were not far wrong the hard drive i was using had a few bad sectors i remember playing about with the drive a while back it was from an OEM PC, worked ok for a while but seems to of had its day. Thanks for your input as without it, my stuborn head would of continued to use the OLD thing lol. Hope all is sorted now.
