nothing can kill it!

You have to hit the back of it with the JAW. ...the back isn't armored.

hard to kill? seriously. half an HMG magazine kills them. if done right, the Pinger can be killed in under 30 seconds.

It usually takes 2-4 C4 to kill that thing easily, it drops fast.

Obviously, no they are not. I have no idea what they are talking about, *despite a mess up and playing on Recruit and noticed at the last second* the Pinger was really difficult to kill, even aiming at the back.

When you have 4 sets of C4 you can take the Pinger down in 10 seconds max. If you don't and you are trying to hit it in the back with the JAW from a distance you're pretty much screwed. The fact that it can pivot on its legs is really frustrating as it has a ridiculously well armoured face which swings around as soon as you fire rendering your JAW missile almost useless.

I just hoarded C4 (I don't think I ever used any C4 I had picked up until I encountered pingers), waited behind an object until they pinged, sneaked up behind them and threw 4 C4 onto the back (aiming at the little glowing bit), got some distance and instantly killed them (I tried with 3 C4 on one and finished it off with less than a MK 60 mag/drum). This was on Post-Human Warrior.

due to singleplayer, we have to kill 5 pingers

(i did that two times in max difficulty)

never tried with the C4...I usually use a couple of jaws and a few gauss attachment shots while changing positions to have access to its back

gauss attachment for the scar....you unlock late in the game but you can use it at any time in following playthroughs

I do not think it causes as much damage as the Gauss Rifle but the "damage bar" when you get the weapon stat is full...so I am guessing it does a lot of damage
