EA Support recommended I post this in both their forums and Crysis 3 forums so...

I pre-ordered the 'Crysis 3 Hunter Edition' all the way back in April. Now there is the Digital Deluxe edition which I would like to upgrade to. There is a 'Crysis 3 Digital Deluxe Upgrade' option in the Origin store but I will end up paying ￡5 more overall than I would buying the 'Crysis? 3 Digital Deluxe' outright. And I can't cancel my original pre-order because, funnily enough, I am over my 14 day refund window. I have already spoken to someone in the Help Centre chat but they can't do anything.

Why are those who pre-ordered your game early being punished for doing so?
