whenever i enable DX11 mode this is what happens.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MP3FpPeHaGs

my system specs:
CPU: i5 2500
GPU: XFX HD 6950 (i have the latest drivers installed for my video card)
RAM: 8gb
OS: Windows 7 professional 64 bit

what could be causing this issue and how can i fix it? it makes the game unplayable when DX11 is enabled.

That looks like the sort of thing that happens when you overclock your GFX card. Artifacts like such mean you've gone too far with your overclock.

So if you are overclocking the card try lowering your speeds. If you are not overclocking your card could still be overheating due to dust, faulty fans or poorly ventilated case. If none of these apply then the card might be faulty.

if you actully read my post you will see that this problem ONLY OCCURS when DX11 is enabled.... and just for the record my card isnt faulty nor overclocked and it never runs hotter than 50 degrees Celsius as i have the fan speed up high when i play games.

Definitely consistant with overheating, but anyway:

Do you have any other DX11 games to test?

Ahh, as your the sort of person who replies to friendly advice with smart ass whining, I will leave you with this - your video card is fooked!

Also are you forcing Anti-Aliasing or Anistropic Filtering driver side?
Any tweaks enabled?

no tweaks that i know of, i havent changed any driver settings and as for other DX11 games i play BC2 in DX11 with no problems at all.

edit: Jac75 you are of no help at all and you just seem to ignore all the facts and persist on saying my card is broken, my video card is working perfectly fine with every game including crysis 2 its only after i installed the DX11 patch and then enabling it in options is when the problem starts to occur.
