» Sun Mar 24, 2013 9:56 am I'm having a lot of performance problems with this game... First off, my setup:
Nothing of OC.
CPU: I7 3770 3.4GHz
GPUs: GTX 570s SLI
RAM: 8GB 1600MHz
Drivers: 314.07. Already tried to fix the problem with the newest ones but nothing.
Mt problems are: FPS drops and stuttering.
In the first mision when Psycho gave you the bow to kill a group of CELL soldiers, in that part the game runs around 12 to 20 FPS with both GPUs usage below 50%. This only happens with SLI activated. Playing with one 570 at high settings, seems to be the only way to avoid this problem. Oh yeah, this problem persist when you are in the Hydro dam, on the top.
Then in welcome to the jungle, the parts that you have to start searching for guns to destroy the tower, and kill a group of CELLS soldiers in a lake, those parts I suffer a lot of stuttering (my GPUs seems to lower their usage from 98% to 80% and then again goes to 98%) while moving the mouse too quickly or well moving it 180/360 degrees, all of these in just a second or two, then like I said everything goes to normal. In this level I already tried turning everything to low to see if is a VRAM issue, but the stuttering persist.
About the first issue, I only can say that is a SLI problem. And for the second one, it seems to be only in areas filled with largest amounts of grass, and well an in game performance problem.
After those two levels the game runs like butter, "From the Root of All Evil" to end of "Red Star Rising" no problems at all.
I hope someone can help me, I tried to be the most specific.
