Hmmm. Seeing as though SecuRom is morally wrong and borderline illegal I'm hoping for Steam.

I have 2 completely undeletable files on 2 of my old hard drives because of SecuROM.
Meh, it won't stop me from buying the game! It wasn't intrusive for Warhead.

i think it will com with securom. look at the min specs:

Any special multiplayer requirements? Internet Connection Required

Internet connection also required for a one-time authorization when the game installed/first run.

hopefully you dont have to insert the dvd to play the game everytime...

[I HATE STEAM]

I'm guessing you have two tin cans and a piece of string providing your internet connection?

Virtual CD programs like Daemon Tools cracked Securom protection long ago. Don't bother Crytek. If you really want good protection, use the new Star Force protections. They're very hard to crack.

yeah steam is way better, its best if youre always online but u can do offline, current securam demands u to be online at all times and thats it
with steam u have better support, achivements, a store, digital games library, its just way better, altouhg VAC svcks and no-one should ever use it, as a distribution platform its unmatched

That form of protection is safer rather anything else if you haven't noticed?

I'm always surprised when I see someone who hates Steam, I always wonder why, then realize that the last time they used it was probably back in '04...
