Seeing all those 720p reviews graphics comparison from major youtubers i felt compelled to make my own at 1080p not side by side so the native doesnt get squased in half.

Unfortunately you have to watch at 1080p to see the full detail at 720p doesnt look so good. The original video looked a lot better though for pointing out the differences.

Yeah same feeling although PC looks better in the original video. I gotta say im disappointed i was gonna get the gtx 590.

Patch is never coming There is no word on crytek and ony Nvidia dx11 support list crysis 2 is no longer listed.

LMFAO it is all about direct x9 mate. They only released it in Direct x9 to build up to the monumental direct x 11 patch that will be coming out....when.. when the developers have stopped juggling their balls, logging onto facebook and looking out the window. Oh yes and patting each other on the back about what a monumental sucess the game has been due to looking after console users.

even Crysis supported direct x10 FFS. I actually think is pretty good to be fair just very disapointed about the graphics support really. I got the utility download.. that has helped a little.

The utility download however diminished my FPS over 10 fps but erased the blur which is awesome and added ssao and msaa 4x Im not sure though if those were turned on hardcoe.

I am so sick and tired of people barking this nonsense of how C1 looks better than C2. This is pure BS and a mere figmented imagination cause you are not getting want your want ie DX11.

Tell you what, those of you that are convenced about this I am more than willing to make a challenge. You can use all the tweaking you wan with C1 even natural mode and I will still crush it.

We can start with human figures, then natural invironment, and structured. Just let me know whos up for the challenge.

Will you idiots stop saying Crysis 1 tears Crysis 2 apart? Vanilla Crysis on Very High looks like a pile of **** compared to Crysis 2. It looks better after using texture packs, Real Lifesis/Extrem Quality mods (and even those mods, they look "nice" but the effects are wayyyy too overblown. They look better but far less realistic. )

These better graphics after mods are a result of homebrew configs from the mod community...Crytek didn't make them. So stop saying Crysis 2 is an epic fail because it can't beat something Crytek didn't even make. CryEngine 3 is more powerful then CE2 on PC but exponentially more efficent. Since paks and etc. have already been unlocked a Crysis 2 mod would make a Crysis 1 mod look like ****.

the pc version looks MUCH better. higher resolution textures and HDR, better shadows. iam the only one who sees a BIG difference?

Not really i have to call you out on that. I made a comparison of both and crysis 1 has better textures and overall is better in terms of physics(no destructible buldings in crysis 2) and lightning. The shadows are a bit more crispier. And this is all from vanilla Crysis 1 patched 1.2 No mods whatsoever, however the guns do look better on this game but thats about it. If it was set on jungle you will for damn sure notice the downgrade.
