Hello Crysis Community!


Last year there was a public beta, beginning at the 3rd of March with a release at the 25th. This year the release will be earlier: 22nd of February, which leads to the logical assumption that the beta is about to come! It was already announced by Crytek, just without an exact date.

I think it will be at the beginning of february, in 2 weeks time. How long do you think will it last? At first its very likely going to be released for Xbox360, then PC, then PS3.

My thoughts about the Alpha were very sceptical. So I think the controllable Pinger and the super-weapons that instant kill should be removed. Plus: The Speed of the game is still too low; I remember Crysis Wars and with maximum speed...you could simply move much faster and it gave the game more action. Now it is very slow, I played the Alpha myself and that for 10 hours so I know what I'm saying. I also know that such an important feature wont be changed 2 months before release. Ok, running doesnt drain nanosuit energy but still, you move extremely slow and it doesnt feel smooth.

The gameplay itself was...ok.
Anyway, what do you think about the start of the open Beta?
