Crysis 3 Radar Position

Post » Tue Dec 04, 2012 5:26 am

The position of the radar in Crysis 2 is really uncomfortably placed.
In Crysis 3 please place the radar on the top left hand corner of the screen. Or even better add features like customizable positions, enable/disable Lock radar rotation etc.

There have been studies at my uni years back that say the human eye pays the least attention to the bottom left/right corners of gaming screens and from my personal experience it is hard to keep an eye on the radar on the bottom left than it is on the top right and be able to view ahead from the remaining focus of my eye.

I would actually prefer it to be on the top right, and maybe have some sort of new function on the left, but sure.

Doesn't really affect me. It's always been in bottom left in Crysis so why change it?

You forgot one thing: Anyone who uses a Windows PC for any amount of time will pay attention to the bottom cos that's where the taskbar is

Yes, the transparent background is more of an issue for me - it means half the time you can't even see what's on it. Maybe that was the intention, make it so people are less reliant upon it.

IDK, it really doesn't make any difference for me where it is. I've seen it used in the bottom left, top right and top left. Although I've never seen a minimap in the bottom right because HUD info is usually there

+1 too transparent/bright. The red dots get bleached out in bright environments.
