Crysis 3 really needs bullet drop!

Sometimes i feel a little guilty running around in C2 with my DSG reflex, sniping from across the map. I think adding a little bit of bullet drop would add to the realism, and also add another level of skill required for shooting at long range. This way at long range, players using a sniper scope will actually have an advantage over those with the reflex sight. Thoughts?

.....Thanks, but no thanks.

Bullet drop only adds to being a pain in the ass, specially for counter sniping players you only can see about 3 pixels of them or they are too far away. It just adds to make the game harder to those that first enter it and have to learn through getting killed a million times by other snipers.

Not to mention bullet drop works on all guns, so an assault type with the recoil and bullet spread has no to 0 chances against a sniper.

For me bullet drop only promotes try achieve higher level of camping for shooting from more secure positions while training your 1 hit kill shots.

And I have tons of hours on BF3 against crane campers in the cannals and on top of buildings so I know what I′m talking about.

Naaaaaaaah. It might be because I come from an Unreal/Quake background, but I like my "bullet" type weapons to be hitscan.

This is 100% personal preference though. I just think it doesn't fit in a super fast paced game, but everyone is entitled to their opinion in subjective matters such as these.

Bullet drop wouldn't work in this game, the gameplay is too fast. it would be ridiculously hard to hit a running target with the DSG if they implement bullet drop, and you wouldn't have a chance against snipers unless you have a scope

Bullet drop is a no-go for me. It's a huge pain in the ass in Battlefield games to have to deal with the bullet drop, and it's unrealistically extreme. Over a length of 300 meters a freaking Assault Rifle is still accurate (in real life), yet in BF3 you have to aim twenty feet above the guys head with a **** sniper rifle.

Thanks but no thanks! Especially since Crysis 3's maps seem to be leaning towards having the amazingly large maps of about 50x50 meters. ^-^ I like my bullets to go where my crosshair is.
