The video is not detailed enough to really show off the effect, but from what I can see, it's a pretty shader effect. It's nice, but nothing mind-blowing.

Yes, but the PC will look a generation ahead, and i can already imagine what the console version looks like. I just turn a lot of settings down on crysis 1 and resolution down to 1280x720 and i get the same quality as the footage we've seen so far in trailers
Meh, i'm assuming that statement of fact will lead some some sort of butthurt retort from some console-exclusive user, but ah well, fed up of treading on eggshells around people who think consoles can run crysis 1 on very high, and keep up to much more powerful systems in crysis 2.
