Yeah, that's the most positive review I've seen from Yahtzee in a dog's age... wow. And the fact that he actually compared it to Half-Life 2... double wow. When you think about it, though, it's true that Crysis 2 sidesteps a lot of the standard stuff that basically every shooter does now because every shooter tries to be like Call of Duty, and that's something he always complains about. So it makes sense that he'd appreciate the fact that this game tries to be different.
Now let's just hope EA understands that what keeps Crysis 2 afloat despite the technical issues is the fact that it's relatively original and intelligent for its genre so that it doesn't have all its teeth pulled for the third instalment. *cough*Killzone*cough*
