Crysis on sale - lets play online

Post » Tue Feb 01, 2011 1:27 am

All version of Crysis are on sale for 75% off on steam.

We should use this as an opportunity to get a couple good game on Crysis wars now that there will be a moderate influx of players to the game.

Install Crysis Wars this week if you don't already have it installed....and lets play some games.

Buy both, everybody shoud've buyed them from they're launch day, so now we would have Crysis 2 PC exclusive. It's too late for that, but it's never too late to buy an excelent game.

I want to get it but the 5 machine activation limit with no revoke tool on the original is making me second guess it

There's no activation limit on the original Crysis. Only Warhead has an activation limit and there's a de-authorisation tool available so that you don't have to use any up, so long as you de-authorise the game before reinstalling it :)

That actually sounds fairly acceptable, i'll pick it up then. Just gotta remember to be careful with revoking on Warhead (it threw me off because the store page for the original listed it). Thanks for the reply!

Get on the bandwagon :P Steam has it right now for $7.49 (USD) even if your computer isn't all that up-to-date you can play it. I was playing it on low-medium with an AMD Dual Core Athlon X2 4000 (lol) and a 256MB ATI VC.

Funny, I started Crysis with an all-ATI setup and now I have Intel/Nvidia. How the world changes. Anyways, for $7.49 you can at least give it a try.

How strange then that my original crysis bought on steam tells me i cant play the game, all i get is the message to buy a new one, warhead still works.
I change computers often so apparantly after 5 changes crysis stopped working.
When its bought through steam there really should not be limits.
Will i buy future crytek releases? NO i wont.

No activation limit on the Steam version? Original Crysis?

You know that these activations are silent, which means you won't notice?

There is (on the Steam version), i have had to contact EA support 3 times now to claim back activations. The Warhead deauth tool does not revoke Crysis activations either :(

Ah wut? Crysis has a certain amount of activations allowed? So eventually I won't be able to play it anymore if I upgrade my PC?.. Ripoff man.

How do I deauthorise?
