Crysis 2 in stereoscopic 3D?

Post » Fri Jun 03, 2011 8:03 am

Hi

Does anybody know if Crysis 2 will run in stereoscopic 3D on 360, PS3 and PC?

In the demo, there's only 3D side by side option, not stereoscopic 3D.

Can any clarify this?

Thanks

Side-By-side IS stereoscopic, you just have to flip them.

Yes, it will run S3D ... if you have the right hardware:

120 Hz Screen or 3DTV with glasses

and for PC extra:
nVidia 3D Vision

S3D in C2 shall be great ... with very less need of resources, only 1.5x

I do have a 3D tv from SONY. I just went into the demo of Crysis 2 on 360 last night, and there's only that 3D option for side by side ( Both images are fully seperated and not on top of each other ) . Thats the old tech, the new one is called stereoscopic. I was just wondering since the game is almost out and the demo only featured the old tech.

The 3D 'version' I want is the same as for example Killzone 3, Mortal Kombat, Wipeout, Black Ops etc.

for 3DTV sbs (side by side) is normal, there is no other way, and the actual technology ... it's a kind of stereoscopic visualization

side by side means that there are two pictures half rez in length which are showed by turns

PC has with 3D Vision two full rez pictures which are showed by turns

both is S3D (stereoscopic 3D)
