Hello.

When i try to go into MP i have to type in my CD-Key like evryone els i think. But my problem is that afther i type in my CD-Key, the game stopps working.
This dident happend the first times i played C2. I loged in to MP and was abel to gett my LE code to work on first try.

But i dident want to play MP before i played the SP. But now when i have played tru the SP i cant Play MP at all.
My windows say that it stopped working. and that windows is working to se what the problem is. but i dont gett a error or any thing. Just that it stopped working.
Now this happends evrytime i type in the CD-Key. I have tryed to delete the game and reinstall it. But nope. same ting happends.

I also tryed to contact EA about this cus i dident se anything like this in the forum. so i thnk it's my computer and nott a c2 realated error. but no respons in 3 days...

My rig specs:
Hp Pavilion dv7
windows home premium 64bit
AMD phenom(tm) II N620
4096 MB ram (no ide what brand or hz)
ATI mobilety radeon HD 5600/5700 series

solutions:

disable anti virus (try this first)
remove OC (if any at all)
reinstall crysis 2
run as admin
restart computer

are you running the crysis2.exe or crysis2launcher.exe (which ever one you are using use the other one)
( C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis 2\bin32 ) should be located here unless you changed file path.

I tryed to disabel my anti virus. but same thing. Also tryed restarting the computer, and shut it down to lett it cool down a bit. (that was yesterday). But nope the same problem.

I tryed whit both .exe fils and to un them as admin. same problem.

My game have never crashed before. i can play SP whit out a problem. But as soon as i type in the CD-Key it takes 2-5 secs and the game freez and the c2 stopped working pops up...

I meant remove OC as in remove any overclocks you may have. You can also try compatibility mode. but sense its only the multilayer crashing that seems to be weird.

so nothing comes up when you crash?

You can also try seeing if any errors come up that dont show up as pop ups. to do this follow these steps.

(right click "Computer," click "Properties," on the bottom left you will see "Performance Information and Tools" click that. On the left click "Advanced tools," then click "View performance details in Event log." Under "Date and Time" find the time your game crashed, then look under "Level." If it says "Error" Google the "Event ID." Even if its a warning just to be safe Google the "Event ID" anyways. This should tell you if the problem is driver related or hardware related.

It could also just be that the online is not working for you yet. and will fixed in a patch.

i have no OC.
I went to the computer and the advanced tools thing. But in the event viewer there is no error.
i tryed to run the game agein 2 times to se if an error wold show op in the event viewer, but no. Noting there.

already tryed that. still the same error. And i only have a EADM version so i have to download it agein if i delite it once more.

I also tryed deliting evrything that had to do whit c2 and the c2 demos. But afther reinstalling i got the same error

I forgot to ask. Have you updated to 1.1 yet?

the only thing i can think of at this point is that it is a crysis problem and will be patched.
