i think yes, anyway without the suit, alcatraz was dead and the suit grows into his injuries.

But seriously, think outside the box (but not the suit). Cry 2 took us in a direction that very few could have thought of from a "practical" of logical stand point.

We assume that Hargreave to be dead now, but we have no solid evidence of that. Who's to say his little chamber area didn't seal off and drop below the compound.

Here's my bet: (possible spoiler alert)

We'll play as another character, Alcatraz will give us his suit and kill himself, just because he was tired of battling. The setting would be another famous city, and at the end he says:

-NANOSUIT "They call me... Alcatraz"
-PROPHET "Shut up marine, they call me Prophet!"
-NEW CHR "Both of you, shut up! I'm the one in the suit!!"
-PROPHET "Wanna get vaporized?"*





*Of course, vaporizing device was unimplemented in Nanosuit2, but Alcatraz will wear a Nanosuit3, given by Karl Ernst Rasch, before giving it to the new character.
