My rig isn't bad:

Windows 7 64
8gb Ram
Athlon 64 x2 4800+ CPU
GTX 460 GPU
Drivers are updated

Crysis 2 still stutters, in a peculiar fashion:
Every second, the framerate drops. It almost looks like the framerate is limping or having a hickup.
It practically doesn't matter what graphical options or resolution I use, the framerate goes south with a limp.
So it seems this is some weird bug.

Can anybody help me?

The CPU is actually a Phenom II X4 955@ 3,2 GHz, the aforementioned way my old computer.
