Crysis 2 Suit Visual Customisation

Post » Tue Dec 09, 2008 2:17 pm

I was recently watching a Crysis 2 trailer and I noticed that I guy said you would not be able to visually customise your nano suit to look different to everyone else, but you can change your abilities. If you believe that they should make suit visual customisation and option for the campaign and the multiplayer please comment.

Thank you

If we cannot have different looking suits to everyone else then how can we be distinguished? also Halo Reach has customisable suit visuals so why can't we I mean they could probably be more know than this if it doesn't!

Well, suit customization would be cool but at the same time would bring problems - minor problems that may change the experience into something different
I do recall someone saying that you could put emblems onto your suit, but I can't seem to find the related post or web article, so I'm not sure

Take a look at the pic linked below. Do you see the emblem on the player's shoulder pad ? That maybe customizable....

Nice find. :)

I think that is just the CryNet Ops emblem for their team though. We shall see though.

yeah but you gotta admit it would improve the game looking at your charcter and thinking to yourself: "I made that!" plus I think it would just make it so much more fun personally but thanks for the comment that is a good one but there are lots of games with customisation and they just have people who pretend they are in that clan so we shall see!!!

If emblems are allowed to be put onto the suit, they will probably be preset emblems, not ones that you yourself can make. Otherwise it would be quite dumb.

@Tom
lmao, good point, and yes it was good when we could almost design our own in game car colours and engines and so on on all the mainstream race games, where we got loads of 3rd person view, but if this is included in Crysis two, for the most part you wont even see ya own colours, just other player colours,

I'm just being humoured by the idea, dont think its something i would use, :-)

How about starting from a low version of the suit (This will contain very little stuff, making a lighter suit), and then as you play through the game, you unlock special apparels for the suit, making it big and bulky like the N2? (Although the suit we've seen in MP doesn't have the bulkiness of the Nanosuit 2).

We should at least be able to unlock suits like the nanosuit 1 and korean nanosuit and others costumes.

See I dont know if its a cool idea or not, when you consider for the most part your fighting the enemy not strutuin your stuff, lol
Fact is do you want to stand out so much with a sick paint job, makes you a weell easy target to pick off for snipers.

Ye fine it works on cars an bikes but never been big in any kind of army, infact in battle of any kind the best defense is blend and cover?

we allready know we have addtional unlocks for suit mods, so why add colour scheme, thats just what i see, i donrt want to be seen is more to the point, :-)

@guss600 well guss I do agree that we will not be seeing or suits so that would make you want it less, but you see yourself when you die and they could have like a little window with a pic of you in it while you wait to join a match, and who said that you had to make yourself be seen you could blend yourself in but you could also make yourself look epic! and rally on your soldiers

well in answer to that what i am saying if i was forced to use a colour sheme, then it would have to be cam, or stone grey depending on enviroment, just so enemy could not easily see me.
hope you get that point
Pretty much the currentshades of grey kinda suit the urban jungle to a large extent.
This is all simple wartime tactics realy, and after all, we are supposed to be in some kind of war, just saying i want to blend in, not stand out as an easy target would.
this is only an opinion, :-}

That said, be my guest, you go and get ya sick paint job, i'll look forward to spotting you ingame, lmao, only joking m8.

Nano one, and Korean Nano are supposedly inferior to Nano 2, but custom additions over and above the present would be good, as long as I dont stick out like a sore thumb, :-0

@guss600 well what about like suit build modifications so you can make your suit more bulky and armoured if you play a tank and slim ones for stealth players

been looking at videos of other games that are soon to come out and I can confidently say that none will be as good as Crysis 2!!! So I strongly recommend that everyone should go out and buy it right now, you can also order it online and get the special edition just for pre-ordering but get in quick before stocks run out.
