Crysis 2 Support Relevance

Post » Mon Oct 06, 2008 7:19 am

Which brand of Video, or intense graphics processing corp. should Crysis favor ? Nvidia got the first shot and went to a booming start. On the other hand ATI came out with some new gpu's to combat nvidia's craze in the situation. Now with Crysis 2 incoming what corp should get that shot with max. support!

I think if any it shoud be nvidia, so that people can really get the MOST out of crysis, becaus ATI's drivers are so horrible.

TBH, the whole "x GPU works in x game better" is a load of bollocks. It's comparing apples with oranges. Until ATi and nVidia develop two cards of their own that are identical then how can they be compared?

You do, every now and then, get a game that runs poorly on a particular GPU that otherwise runs everything else really well. 99% of the time this is early days of release with undeveloped drivers and the issue is resolved eventually.

User preference matters and as Shinanigans points out, you cannot compare what is not identical, and if ATI and Nvidia, ever did produce an identical GPU, they might as well be known as ATvidia, :D
