Crysis 2 on PC

Will it be a PC Killer once again or will it sink into the depths of generic console shaders...

Don't let companies like Activision and Infinity Ward shred bad light on Crytek. Crytek has said from the beginning that Crysis 2 will be available to Console users, yes, but PC gamers still get the best of graphics.

Im just hoping they implement PC specific settings such as tesselation and deffered lighting as well as hopefully better shaders and textures

They already said that will use Deffered lightining only in the PC Version, I think as the other my PC (I have a regular pc not an monster like many people here) can run it even in the High settings, But I think even the core I7 980X with Multiple gtx480 willl stand the "Ultra High" with full Anti-Aliasign

for PC, the game will play twice as good as the first, while being able to double the graphics capabilities.

i figured they should be able to put in better graphics especially considering the draw back on level size. its supposedly more linear than the first one

They said in a video that, if your PC could run Crysis, it will be able to run Crysis 2. Obviously they have HEAVILY optimized this engine. I don't think anyone will have any troubles running it. Also, they said that the PC version has many features not found in the console counterparts.

i trust crytek to let my pc crash when playing at super high quality.
after all most of the footage shown is xbox360 or ps3.
