I think you have to use your binoculars, to search, and tag them, if you want to. I think it's a cool idea, giving you advice for certain situations. Like searching for a Sniping Rifle, but at the same time, these options can be ignored, if you have another idea how you want to play.

Yeah you have to use your visor to see the tac options and you can click them if you want so they appear out of visor mode

When you walk into a certain area where they are there, the suit tells you 'Tactical Options Availalbe'.

They are pretty cool, all pre-determined, but theres a lot of them. For example, an orange marker is shown for each one and you can tag the one you want. So if theres one saying 'Snipe' and one saying 'Flank', you tag the one you want to do. From what I've seen in vids, there can be up to 5 options available in one location at a time. Now thats cool.

Tacticle Options svck RASTAS BALLS!!

What happened to finding your own place to snipe? and to Flank.. and remembering that there's ammo over there, and a JAW laying in that area over there???

Tacticle Option kills the replay value of the game.. at least for me it did..

Yea, I ignore the voice (as much as one can ignore it - cos u still hear it), then i bring up the visor to tag some aliens so I can plan my kills, my way and what do u know.. There they are, all nicely shown to me in my visor.. now i know its there and i didnt even tag it.. so not cool dude.. not cool at all...

Tactical Options are a stupid addition to gameplay.

If you can't ignore them it's your fault, not the games. I play without them and I obviously don't need them, but I don't whine about it.

I think that tactical options are a nice touch. Sure, I know what to do, but I don't mind the game occasionally reminding me that "there's something useful over there".

It would be a lot better if you could tag an option only after you see it. It's really stupid to be able to tag everything you don't even see, because you're behind the wall or in a tunnel, and after you tag every possible thing on map, you can charge on those poor aliens. So dumbed down game! If I remember correctly, in Crysis you could tag something (enemy, f.e.) only by viewing it.

And I don't get these fanboyz, if you complain on something that could be better if Crytek wasn't ignoring their customers, they attack you with "don't whine" sh**!
