Hey guys, got some cool news for ya. I have a friend who's hosting a Crysis 2 PC tournament and I need to acquire 8 teams at the least in order for this thing to run. Right now we're in speculation mode and we have a few rules laid down as well.

Rules: Team size will be 4 players, for you larger clans you can admit more teams under the same clan with a team name to support your clan and also not to exclude anyone. Friendly fire will be on. Deflection will be disabled.

Speculation: We're speculation raising the health percentage to motivate better team play and cooperation. Also game modes are unknown but it will probably be a mixture of crash site, capture the relay, and team instant action.

Teams already in: IAM, LORD, FVIC, SITH, MAX, BFH, LTK, VAULT.
If you guys know of other clans get them to post here, we want as many as possible!

I'll send the info to our clan to try and get a team or two together.

Is max still around?

Other clans/groups I see semi regularly, Tsld.

Are there any other American clans? Theres that new aussie clan that started on this forum too.

I don't think raising the health is necessary.

this is a big shame crytek isnt doing this. users must help themselves, how pitty. but nice idea and best wishes from me

@BusinessEvolution: MAX still is around, and nox said they would participate, I forgot to put them up there. I don't know about Tsld though, you should ask them if you ever see them!

@th3-0nly-1337: You don't necessarily need a clan, just a team to play, and it needs to be 4 players. They can't be in any other teams to avoid confliction.

@gener@l....chet: The server will be either east coast america, or west coast europe. Don't worry about the server buddy, just worry about getting team mates. Also your team name is?

@digitalmystikz: You need a team of 4, not just yourself. If you have a team of 4 tell me the name of your team. We enable friendly fire to make it more difficult. The fact that you can throw a grenade at your friend and not kill him is annoying.

Most likely going to be unranked so that people don't get angry when they get killed or kill their team mates, but that's up in the air. Pretty sure we aren't going to use custom maps but who knows.

Holster your guns, dude. In every competitive Crysis 2 match I've played friendly fire has always been on. In a lot of matches in other games I've watched friendly fire is on. I don't go around playing with friendly fire on, and you can see if in my YT video when I scrim, I kill my own team mates and my team mates kill me, so there's no competitive advantage.

Friendly fire was always on in Crysis Wars... S'cool.

I am all for 100% friendly fire, could be pretty interesting also increasing health should be fun, few ppl had a chance to test this while SiTH vs CHI clan war xD

Q4: Like I said, still in speculation mode, I need the interest before I can make anything formal. Looks like I have the interest. I was thinking the rounds could be best of three. First game would be crash site, second game capture the relay, and third game team instant action.
Q5: We'd try to make it a time on the weekend that benefited everyone. However, everyone is not going to be able to play, because it's impossible to have everyone be involved. That being said there isn't a time yet, but it wouldn't be too soon, so we still have a lot of time to bounce some ideas off of each other.
