Post » Mon Oct 27, 2008 9:37 pm

Recently changed my motherboard to intel DH55TC and processor i3-530.
My OS is WinXP 32 bit
I have already reinstalled Crysiss Warhead and applied the latest patch.
Now I am unable to load any previously saved games. It loads up to 99% and crashes to the desktop.
I even tried creating a new profile and starting a new game, samething happens.
I have copied the last few lines from the log file.

Initializing 3D Engine

i had a problem a long time ago with Crysis loading saved data because i had A LOT of saved data in the folder and once i deleted evrything except the latest saved data it was fine. Try moving everything out of the folder into another folder first and start a new game, if it works, move back the save game you were trying load before and try loading that. hope this helps ;)

Try loading it with a lower graphics settings and see if that helps, or try launching under DX9. Also, your drivers might be having a problem with the new motherboard setup, so I suggest you try updating your graphics and motherboard drivers, or reinstall them.

Hope this helps!

Just upgrade the os, gpu and dx software. Its probably a lack of support due to the os, then re-install the game. install the patch first and play.
Hope this helps..!
