Hey guys some bit of good news... BFG along with a few other cartographers or map designers have ported over 6 maps from Crysis Wars to Crysis 2.. You can now play 2 of the most exciting close quarter battle maps Steelmill and De_Dust2 from Crysis Wars... Get this... YOU DONT have to be in a particular class to get weapons, the weapons are strewn about on the map!!! YEAHHHHHHHH!!!!!

I am trying like hell to keep this C2 gaming community alive.... Its quickly dying mostly from the game being broken, Hackers and of course from Admins killing the game due to stupid rules!!! Hackers I understand!!!! Disagreements, squadding up and controlling how a game is played is STUPID!!!.. Admins should just talk to the players on whatever voice program they use and HASH it out!!!! Stop banning people for STUPID reasons... An old saying "Be nice to the people on the way up, because they are the same people you meet on the way down" .. At the rate that this game is dying you Admins may have to unban a few people just to keep your servers going.. Dont take my word for it LOOK AROUND!!!!

Without saying too much that's bound to happen when non-gamers are in charge of the decision making. Things turned into a game of server monopoly rather than a gaming community and it's dividing everyone. Numbers are dropping partly because people are getting split up and being forced to play on official servers where hacking and glitching is rife.

Then there's the bugs, say no more on the orbital strike lag..

Also another thing that's affecting number is game play. The current game modes are uninspiring at best and since playing the game from april-ish I am now myself starting to get bored of "they got the crash site..we got the crash site.. they got it.." etc as well as they silly childish ambient sounds that sort of want to drive you to insanity.

Also I thought new maps and mods would improve this, unfortunately the modding hasn't changed a thing yet. First off all custom maps are unranked which means not a lot of players are going to be searching through custom maps for a start and most aren't interested in playing just for fun as they want to rank up. Next is the awkward delivery system for these maps and mods, no auto download you got to go to the site and install files manually which most aren't going to do. And once you get them installed and get on them, you'll find out while some of the maps are good, they've still followed the same TIA/IA close quarter design that the standard maps do rather than being nice open and objective friendly maps.

TBH I can't wait any longer for BF3, it does seem like the breath of fresh air that I've been hoping would happen to crysis 2 by now judging from all the videos and info about it.

Now i've reached max rank i wouldn't mind playing some mod maps, thing is i don't fancy playing with pros (no offence guys but you're in a league of your own).
Nowadays when i play MP i do it for practice, i'm thinking these skills i learned (cloak-decloak-armor-kill-cloak-run) will somehow be able to transfer into other FPS games.
For sure i've improved loads my online shooting skills and i still do enjoy the MP immensly.
But yeah, it does need some fresh air, sure i got mafia2 in 3D running now, and the trippy as hell AliceMR but C2 is still my FAV, i'm lookin' forwards to Batman 3D more than anything else.
But yeah, i still hope for a Crysis 2 update (more content or a patch), and i haven't lost any of my interest for this game neither, i keep myself busy in game, runnin' shootin' or taggin', also you meet some nice folks too.
I'll probably check out CarlGustav's mod first before any cause it looks immense and this one in the OP seems interesting too.

As for sli...dude the more you play the better you get... Play vs the best they make you the best... You can come to BFG and practice
