Crysis Wars Resolution Issue

Post » Sun Nov 23, 2008 11:00 am

I was trying to play Crysis Wars the other day after a system restore to a Dell Factory Image, and now the resolution automatically sets itself at 600x800, and plays in a little box at the top left of the screen. The mouse pointer and where you are ACTUALLY clicking are in two different positions, ie. your mouse has to be where the button would have NORMALLY been on standard resolution, and not where the game displays the button. Which makes it extremely difficult to navigate the menus.
The game runs really slow, and if I look at far off scenery, its super choppy, and 'strobes' in and out of existance - which is odd because I run it on Max visuals with everything on V. High smoothly and without a problem.

I have updated my BIOS and drivers, but nothing appears to be helping. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the game twice.

Is anyone else having the same problem? Can anyone help??

Hi blondy_gonzo,

Please make sure that you have the sufficient drivers for all of your hardware updated. The main ones to look out for with Crysis Wars or any other games is the GFX card. DirectX drivers also play a major part in your computer's graphical performance.

You should also remove any Crytek content from your PC after you have uninstalled the game before reinstalling.
